Steel Fitness boasts top-notch instructors and offers excellent support to its members. I am truly grateful for the gym over the years, and particularly during these unprecedented times, for providing us with invigorating Zoom classes to stay active and maintain our health.

Do not venture into this establishment. Spare yourself the expense and frustration. I cannot endorse this gym for anyone, and I certainly have no intention of revisiting.

This gym mandates a 30-day notification for membership cancellations. While this is standard practice, it appears to be misleading. The so-called "30-day" notice extends into an additional month as per their automated system. In instances where a month boasts 31 days and you provide notice on the 1st day of said month, the 30 days should not spill over into the next month. It seems their arithmetic skills are lacking. I attempted to terminate my membership on March 30th. None of the staff in the office seemed capable of completing the necessary paperwork without the presence of a particular automated system, which only operates from Monday through Thursday. As echoed in similar reviews, cancellations must be done in person.

The gym does not justify its cost. While the pools may be heated, they do not offer a warm experience. They are often overrun by children, making the environment less than enjoyable. The equipment available is outdated and shows signs of wear and tear, which is unacceptable given the membership fees. I discontinued using the gym after a few visits due to these issues. They are insisting on an additional month payment beyond the supposed "30-day" notice period without providing a clear explanation as to why the 30 days do not align with the calendar month.

I absolutely loved my time at SFP to bits, mate! I went ahead and splashed out my entire savings to cover a whole year in advance, in cold hard cash. Then, the bloomin' pandemic hits, shutting down the place, and the bloke who owns it wouldn't let me back in, even though I'd already forked over the dosh. The BBB tried getting in touch with Mr. Fenstermacher about my grievance, but apparently, he was dodging their calls just like he was dodging mine. The gym itself was top notch, and the crew were spot on, but it's crystal clear that the owner ain't bothered about us actual members. I would've gladly kept renewing my membership year after year, but he didn't want me or my dosh. All he had to do was let me work out for the remaining 6 months that I'd already paid for – wouldn't have cost him a penny. Instead, his lack of response has cost him a customer for life. What a shame all around, eh?

What a fantastic place! Deanna Hontz was absolutely delightful on the phone, and Patrick was fantastic at the reception. The steam room was top-notch! I only had a day pass this time, but I will definitely be returning for more!
