Coastal Gym certainly excels in prioritizing the well-being and safety of its visitors during the ongoing COVID-19 situation, and the team members are notably cordial and supportive. Nonetheless, the facility's design and regulations contribute to an atmosphere that may leave a bit to be desired. For individuals like myself who have a penchant for barbell lifting and functional fitness, this may not be the ideal gym to frequent. The restrictions on "heavy breathing" gave me pause when contemplating extensive sets of pull-ups, and the separation of equipment proved to be a hindrance when attempting to merge different training modalities for a comprehensive workout. While the gym serves its purpose adequately, it may not fully satisfy individuals earnestly dedicated to optimizing their performance within the realm of fitness.

The staff at this gym are utterly unprofessional, especially one individual who displayed blatant rudeness both over the phone and in person! Even when I raised my concerns with the manager, their response seemed to justify this behavior. I only awarded one star so I could leave this feedback. I strongly suggest steering clear of Kittery Coastal Fitness at all costs. Just a heads up, the individual behaving rudely goes by the name of Christina.

It's been about 6 months since I first reached out to Kacey for personal training, and let me tell you, it's been an absolute game-changer. Initially, I was a bit hesitant about committing to it, as I've never been one to enjoy working out – in fact, I used to dread it. But now, I genuinely look forward to our weekly sessions. I had tried working with other personal trainers in the past, and it only served to reinforce my negative feelings of self-consciousness and defeat.

Kacey, on the other hand, is an absolute gem. She's not just encouraging and supportive, but incredibly patient as well. She has pushed me further than I ever thought possible in terms of fitness. Thanks to her guidance, I feel stronger and more confident than I ever have before. I can't express enough gratitude towards her. The atmosphere at Coastal is fantastic – everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I'm truly grateful to be a part of this gym. If you're considering hiring a personal trainer, look no further than Kacey – she's the best!

I've been bodybuilding for 17 years and let me tell you, Coastal Fitness is the best gym I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. The staff is utterly fantastic, the equipment is top-notch, and the cleanliness level is impeccable. I honestly can't think of a single downside to this place - I just love it!

Absolutely loving all the changes the new owners have implemented at the gym!

The updated equipment is fantastic. Prior to this, I had never partaken in fitness classes, but I am thrilled that I gave them a go. The small group classes are my favorite: The instructors are truly exceptional and show genuine concern for their class participants. Everyone I've encountered in these classes has been great.

I genuinely believe that the platinum membership offers exceptional value for everything you receive.

This gym is quite lovely, very convenient for popping in whenever. My only grumble would be that the floors are a tad slippery, which can mess with your squat and leg drive on the bench press.

Donnie really helped me pack on 15 pounds of lean muscle. His commitment to his work is truly impressive. I would highly recommend him. I used to think I was doing well with my solo training, but Donnie's guidance on proper form for maximizing muscle growth completely changed the game for me. He's the only trainer I trust here on the seacoast.

The premises are spotless and the locker rooms are quite pleasant. However, I discontinued my visits due to what I perceived as unfriendly front desk staff, erratic TV placement, and unreliable free WiFi. The fitness equipment generally functions well and there is a wide array to select from. I never partook in any classes during my time there.

Coastal is absolutely brilliant. I adore the fact that I can simply pay for open gym at such a reasonable rate. Additionally, their inclusion of a belt squat and reverse hyper is absolutely fantastic. I find myself recommending this place to anyone who inquires about where to work out in the area.
