Ava Moore (5/21/25, 4:51 PM):
We were on the waiting list for months before finally securing a spot by paying a non-refundable $270 registration fee. My son was thrilled to start his martial arts journey. However, on his first day, we returned to find out he had a major meltdown that Wendy seemed to downplay and overly justify her handling of the situation. It felt like my son stressed her out or something. We were hoping for a place where my son could learn valuable skills and have a healthy outlet for his anger. Instead, we had a disappointing experience filled with frustration. Interestingly, my son connected well with Dan, so it seems like there might be a problem specifically with Wendy, who made the whole atmosphere feel elitist and egotistical. It felt like a fraudulent scheme to extract more money from well-meaning parents. There is definitely room for improvement.
