I 'ad the pleasure of takin' Jen Gorman's yoga fer scoliosis class fer 2 years in NYC. She 'as that magic 6th sense that great teachers 'ave, knowin' the cues and micro adjustments that each student needs. In 'er class I was able to find strength through the legs and lift through the pelvis and torso. She also 'as great insights on 'ow to work with scoliosis in dance technique. I look forward to 'er workshops whenever she is in town.

Jen is an absolutely amazing instructor. I engaged in personal training sessions with Jen during the winter of 2018 to get ready for my upcoming wedding. Right from our initial session, Jen's expertise in understanding the body and crafting exercise routines that were both efficient and effective really impressed me. Midway through our training, I sustained a back injury, which fortunately fell within Jen's area of expertise. I genuinely believe that I wouldn't be where I am today without Jen's guidance, gentle encouragement, and support - and I am excited about the prospect of continuing to work with her in the future. I've been attending Jen's back care classes since 2019, both in-person and online. Originally, my physical therapist suggested I try her yoga class to help with my thoracic and lumbar issues. It's been a lifesaver! Despite the small group setting, Jen always gives personalized attention to each participant, making sure we have the correct form and technique for safety. She also emphasizes understanding the anatomy and science behind the movements. Thanks to Jen's classes, my overall health has improved significantly – my entire body is much healthier because of her teachings!

I discovered Jen while residing in NYC and experiencing a troublesome sciatica flare-up. She collaborated with me, guiding me on the correct stretching and strengthening techniques for my back and core through a customized program. This included a blend of yoga and strength training exercises that I could continue practicing independently at home. Jen displayed patience, expertise, and kindness throughout our sessions together. I am delighted to share that, since working with her, I have remained free of flare-ups for the last 3 years :) I cannot speak highly enough of Jen!

I absolutely must recommend Jen Gorman's Introduction to Pilates for People with Spinal Fusions and Scoliosis. I now feel much better equipped to take proper care of my back and body. She offers an abundance of information and wisdom, both in class and through the extensive course materials and videos. I also highly recommend private consultations - they are extremely beneficial. If you have a unique back condition such as spinal fusion or curvatures, Jen offers expert guidance tailored to your specific goals and requirements. Jen is warm and understanding in her teaching style. Since finding Wellness in Motion, I feel much better physically and even emotionally.
