Had a smashing bjj experience at this top-notch gym. The main instructor was away when I popped by, but the class went on swimmingly with clear guidance. The mats were spotless, the staff and students were ever so amiable. Had a jolly good time rolling with nearly everyone there, and felt right at home on my very first day. If I resided in the vicinity, I’d surely be training here day in and day out. Not a single complaint or worry to speak of. Cheers!

So, just the other day, me and a few of me mates at work decided to give this martial arts class a go together, you know? One of the lads had already been to this place and said we should all try Striker. Now, I've got nearly ten years of experience in different styles under me belt. But when the blokes tried to sign up for the free class, they were welcomed with open arms, quick as you like. But when I reached out, oh no, it was like an interrogation! They were asking me all sorts of questions about me age, experience, gear, you name it. And then I wasn't even allowed into the class, mind you, it was supposed to be for beginners! The owner, Gina, she insisted I come in on my own with me gloves, wouldn't say why. Seemed a bit dodgy to me, if you ask. Me mates who emailed her got a simple yes and were told to bring their IDs. But asking me to come in separately and bringing me gear before even knowing if I could join the class? Nah, that didn't sit right with me. I've been to plenty of studios before and never had an owner or instructor pull something like that. Made me feel uneasy, you know? I was keen on finding a new place to train, especially since one of me coworkers already went there, but after chatting with them, we all agreed it didn't seem safe with the way they were insistent on me coming in alone. I ended up giving up on trying to sort it out with Gina 'cause it just wasn't worth the hassle. Me other mates took the class and said the atmosphere was off, hardly any women around apart from the owner. Don't know if it was a misunderstanding on their part, but I'll definitely be spreading the word to me martial arts pals about me experience.

Brilliant kids classes. My 11-year-old lad absolutely adores training with Stevie to hone his fundamental skills. I cannot recommend the "kids class" sessions enough for youngsters, tweens, and teens.
