James White (6/3/25, 2:50 AM):
In summary: Limited equipment options and subpar service at SPFFC. The only reason to consider this gym is for its additional amenities.

Some machines have been out of order for around a year. My extended access was abruptly revoked without any warning or explanation. I went in to reenroll, received a new keycard, and it didn't work! I reached out to the Executive Director via email but never received a reply.

Last year, I let my two friends in who I PERSONALLY helped sign up with extended access (unaware they hadn't received their keycards yet), and I got penalized for allowing others in after hours. Upon trying to reactivate my extended access recently, I faced hostility and felt like I was being treated as if I didn't respect the rules.

I've decided to cancel my membership. Hanson Fitness offers superior equipment options at the same price point. The classes, basketball court, and designated swimming times are the only factors that may make SPFFC worth considering.

Deb Peterson’s class is the absolute best fitness class I have ever taken part in. Deb mixes up the workout routine with strength training, balance exercises, and cardio. She is incredibly supportive and frequently joins in with the class during the routines. Deb is very knowledgeable and offers great assistance in adjusting or modifying exercises to suit individual needs. It’s definitely a challenging workout!
Catherine Long (6/1/25, 3:01 AM):
The costs are simply too high for a family outing. When you've got yourself and four kiddos in tow, shelling out $10 per person just to take a dip is simply out of reach.
Raymond Jenkins (5/30/25, 2:25 PM):
Lovely establishment and a plethora of activities to partake in.
Jason Jackson (5/29/25, 6:35 AM):
We absolutely adore our gym! We are truly fortunate to have such a fantastic facility in our quaint little town!
Philip Wilson (5/27/25, 11:48 AM):
They truly must modernize and broaden the gear in the weight room.
Cynthia Sanchez (5/22/25, 3:46 AM):
My missus and I do fancy a good bit of Southern Prairie Family Fitness Center, especially the chance to have a go at some indoor pickleball. The wife likes to join in the fitness classes, while I prefer the cardio and weight rooms. Sharon Gardner and Deb Pryor are lovely folks at the reception desk whenever I pop in.
Jason Ramirez (5/21/25, 2:41 AM):
Marvelous spot for exercising. Fabulous team!
Deborah Butler (5/19/25, 2:09 AM):
My family and I absolutely adore the pool.
Michael Barnes (5/14/25, 7:10 PM):
If you're seeking a top-notch workout experience, Dana's class is the perfect choice for you. Each day, she offers a diverse range of classes guaranteed to elevate your heart rate and leave you sweating. Dana is an exceptional instructor whom you'll undoubtedly adore, along with her class. Give it a go, you won't regret it, I assure you.
Kenneth Reed (5/7/25, 6:10 AM):
I absolutely adore utilizing the walking track, while my husband quite enjoys the cardio room. The employees are extremely congenial as well!
Frank Reynolds (5/6/25, 11:06 AM):
Decent spot, but lacking in the free weights department... Still, does the job overall.
Theresa Green (5/5/25, 8:43 AM):
Amy was a fantastic help in getting me signed up!
Steven Allen (5/5/25, 2:53 AM):
The lifeguards are cheeky kids and act like they own the place, rather off-putting if you ask me. The staff I've come into contact with have been quite sharp as well. You're supposed to go there for a bit of fun, but it's hard to relax when you're constantly worried about accidentally breaking a rule. I'm nearly 50 years young, and being talked down to by those young whippersnappers running the joint is just not on! We've since canceled our membership and won't be renewing it... It's a shame, really, considering we live right across the street...
Walter Hamilton (5/5/25, 12:14 AM):
Indoor walking tracks are a fantastic option for those looking to get their steps in, rain or shine.
Ashley Jenkins (5/3/25, 4:53 AM):
A wonderful spot for a swim or for observing others take a dip.
Ella Martinez (5/3/25, 1:41 AM):
Brilliant team! Incredibly helpful and friendly :)
Julie Barnes (5/1/25, 5:34 AM):
Fab for Creston, loads of activities for the whole family to get stuck into.
Roger Garcia (5/1/25, 4:22 AM):
Always cheap and friendly for a swim or workout. They offer many programs for summer or school.
Margaret Phillips (4/30/25, 4:11 PM):
Deb Pryor is absolutely brilliant. Her energy is just off the charts. She really assisted me in improving my Core.
