I am absolutely chuffed with my local gym, they've got all sorts of great stuff like a climbing wall, the place is spotless and efficiently run, and the staff are so friendly and inviting.
Betty Taylor (5/17/25, 3:45 PM):
My favourite YMCA without a doubt. Everyone is so friendly and I've thoroughly enjoyed the fitness classes with Jazzi, Joanna, Juliana, Aimee, Margaret, Samantha, and Shimirrah. This location is 35 minutes away from me but it's definitely worth the drive on a Saturday or Sunday!
Abigail Morales (5/17/25, 6:14 AM):
Michelle was a fantastic help to me today in the aerobic weight room section - much appreciated, thank you!!
Walter Diaz (5/15/25, 7:44 PM):
The Northwest Y has an abundance of offerings for families and friends. I am grateful to them for their values and ethos. It's a fantastic spot for kids. The team is exceptional, especially Denis in the nursery. Thanks to all involved in making the Y such a wonderful place!
Grace Harris (5/13/25, 11:44 AM):
The folks over at the Y are quite friendly and pleasant, I must say. The Y is truly a non-judgmental space, where everyone is welcome regardless of their size or fitness level. The water class instructors are full of energy and always ready to motivate you. Lou and Diane genuinely show that they care about their classes. Well done, Northwest Y!
Rose Garcia (5/13/25, 11:07 AM):
This establishment is a fantastic spot to get your fitness on, and the team is incredibly welcoming. Nevertheless, as newcomers, my little ones have not fallen ill in more than four years, as I've been homeschooling them even before the onset of Covid. I decided to take my children to the daycare facility once, and the very next day, they all came down with upper respiratory infections. Thankfully, the doctor at the emergency room confirmed it wasn't Covid. Currently, my children are battling through it. I have made the decision not to bring them back to the daycare area, but I will continue using the gym while being extra cautious with gloves.
Leonard Ortiz (5/13/25, 7:42 AM):
I must say, I am quite disappointed with the front desk team. The mornings are always bustling, and with only one sign-in spot available, there is inevitably a significant queue each day. This results in wasting around five minutes on a task that should ideally take no more than 10 seconds. To make matters worse, they will often ask you to go back and sign in again, and their manner of doing so can be quite impolite.
Cheryl Myers (5/8/25, 10:00 PM):
The fust visit and follow-up coaching were brill! The modern bikes, treadmills, and elliptical machines are top-notch!
Gary Gutierrez (5/7/25, 4:58 AM):
I absolutely adore the family-centric atmosphere at the Y. When I was a teenager, the Y was a place that welcomed me with open arms, and now it has become like a second home for my family. My kids are flourishing at the Y, taking part in numerous programs, and our weekly visits to the facility have turned into a cherished family tradition. I truly value the dedication to creating programming that caters to families of all ages.
Hannah Martin (5/5/25, 12:14 AM):
This gym is absolutely brilliant for classes, cardio, and weight training! The childcare service here is top-notch, better than any we've experienced elsewhere. Our little ones are always eager to go to the "kids club"!
Andrew Bennett (5/2/25, 10:33 AM):
I 'ave been 'itting the gym 'ere for YEARS. Their outdoor facility, Aire Fit, is the best kept secret around. It's got all the Rogue equipment ya'd find in a CrossFit gym, but the workouts are even better and more fun! I'm in the best shape of my life, all thanks to working out up there. I can't wait to go every mornin'.
Cheryl White (4/29/25, 11:37 AM):
I do adore a good workout, sitting down to pen some thoughts, and savoring a cup of coffee on a lovely Saturday morning. This has been my cherished spot throughout the entire autumn and spring seasons!
Logan Ward (4/28/25, 5:11 AM):
Amazing team and venue, ample parking available. The gym is spacious enough to offer all essential amenities yet cozy enough to foster a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
Wayne Lee (4/26/25, 2:43 AM):
The Northwest Family YMCA has some bloomin' friendly, competent & caring staff members. My missus & I are chuffed with the facilities. The Northwest Family YMCA has a little something for everyone, it does.
Thomas Williams (4/25/25, 1:23 PM):
I absolutely love visiting this YMCA center because it's impeccably clean, the staff are so friendly, the instructors are incredibly enthusiastic, the childcare services are both fun and convenient, and the gym equipment is top-notch! The arrangement of the gym equipment makes it simple to locate available machines, and it never feels overly crowded (especially in the afternoons). I wholeheartedly recommend this facility!
Patrick Scott (4/25/25, 1:04 PM):
As a senior on a fixed income, I must say, the silver sneakers classes I've been attending for the past month have been simply marvelous. The camaraderie of my fellow participants and the uplifting support from the coaches truly make my day. After each session, I stride out of the gym feeling more resilient, cheerful, and optimistic about achieving and sustaining my fitness aspirations. A huge thank you to Northwest Y for this wonderful experience!
Catherine Johnson (4/24/25, 10:21 AM):
These chaps are all jolly good. They graciously attended to our questions and concerns and made an effort to cater to our requirements.
William Fisher (4/23/25, 3:13 AM):
I absolutely love heading to the Y. The team is always so welcoming and willing to help with any queries. My main reason for going is to get my workout in, but it's great to know about all the other amenities included in my membership. I'm grateful that they accept my Health Insurance and offer the Silver Sneakers program. And of course, the Y is consistently clean and the exercise machines are either new or extremely well-maintained.
Logan Robinson (4/19/25, 9:05 PM):
I absolutely adore the childcare choices at the gym! It's wonderful that there are programs available for homeschool children. We've taken advantage of Parents Morning Out for my preschooler, regular childcare hours, Parents Night Out (such a fantastic offer!), and Homeschool Hangout. It's so great to be able to work out and have the peace of mind knowing that the kids are enjoying themselves too.
Anna Long (4/18/25, 8:00 PM):
The staff at the Northwest Cobb YMCA are really kind and welcoming, and the folks who frequent the gym are also quite friendly, creating a wonderful family-like ambiance. The only suggestion I would make is to consider expanding the weight room as it can get rather crowded at certain times.
