If you're in Lafayette, Louisiana, and searching for a gym that combines quality amenities with accessibility, Club4 Fitness might be on your radar. However, before you commit, it’s important to understand what this gym has to offer — and some challenges it may present.
Planning Your Visit
When planning your workout schedule, keep in mind that Club4 Fitness features a wheelchair-accessible car park and a wheelchair-accessible entrance, making it suitable for everyone. The gym takes pride in its efforts towards accessibility, ensuring that all members can enjoy their facilities without hindrance.
Amenities Galore
Club4 Fitness boasts a variety of amenities including showers, lockers, and clean restrooms equipped with toilets. For those who need to stay connected, the facility offers Wi-Fi throughout, allowing members to stream online classes or check their fitness apps seamlessly. Additionally, wheelchair-accessible seating is available, making it a comfortable environment for all members.
Service Options and Classes
The gym provides various service options, including access to personal trainers and a selection of group classes. However, some members have pointed out that there is a lack of variety in the fitness classes offered. Many feel that instructors repeat similar classes too often, which can diminish motivation over time. While some enjoy the popular online classes, others have expressed disappointment in the overall atmosphere during peak hours due to overcrowding.
Membership Requirements
To enroll at Club4 Fitness, a membership is required. Some prospective members have expressed concerns over hidden fees and difficulties encountered when trying to cancel memberships. Numerous reviews highlight frustrations related to the cancellation process, suggesting that members should be prepared for potential challenges if they need to adjust their membership status. This aspect is crucial for anyone considering joining, especially if there's a possibility of relocating or needing to pause their membership.
On-Site Services and Support
While the gym does provide various on-site services like personal training and group classes, the customer support experience has been mixed. Reports mention issues with communication and staff responsiveness. Some members felt neglected when seeking assistance, leading to a less than satisfactory experience overall. It's advisable to be proactive and thorough in understanding the membership terms and any potential issues regarding billing.
Final Thoughts
Club4 Fitness Lafayette presents a solid option for those looking for a comprehensive gym experience with a range of amenities. However, it’s vital for prospective members to conduct thorough research, particularly regarding the membership policies and customer service experiences. With accessibility features and a variety of classes, it can still be a great choice for many within the community, as long as expectations are managed.

I am penning down this appraisal as it appears that I can no more share my thoughts on Club4Fitness Lake Charles Location. My membership got annulled and I was barred due to my unfavorable opinion about the staff members. I've stumbled upon analogous reviews regarding this spot and feel compelled to forewarn others that this fitness center is akin to GloboGym from the movie Dodgeball. The staff at this location are safeguarded by a membership regulation that stipulates termination for any violation of gym protocols, which also encompasses expressing negative views about the gym or its employees. Take heed. This establishment is reminiscent of North Korea 🇰🇵...
Brandon Barnes (3/29/25, 8:34 PM):
Today, I ventured to Club4Fitness to inquire about an ongoing promotion and had a handful of other inquiries. After standing in line, I couldn't help but notice that patrons arriving after me were being assisted before me. Eventually, I conversed with two desk attendants, neither of whom could provide answers to my questions. The first attendant promised to find assistance for me but instead helped those behind me without addressing my concerns. After queuing up again, I posed the same questions to the next attendant, only to receive the same lack of knowledge. I was then directed to speak to the General Manager and asked to wait a few moments. Despite agreeing, I found myself waiting once more as he attended to customers who arrived after me. I lined up again and finally spoke with him, receiving an answer to my question within seconds. My time at Club4Fitness extended to a full hour, without exaggeration. A DISAPPOINTING CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. If I could, I would give this establishment 0 stars.
Update: Upon reflection and perusing other reviews (as suggested by someone), I stand by my decision not to recommend this location. Being a new establishment is no excuse for rudeness. Furthermore, after speaking with others who haven't left reviews, they also shared instances of encountering impolite staff members.
Madison Peterson (3/29/25, 8:53 AM):
It's basically impossible to cancel. I tried canceling multiple times, they said I did, and then I kept getting charged for months. It's a decent gym for the price but the cancellation process isn't great.
Alan Anderson (3/28/25, 7:01 PM):
Absolutely adore this gym. The staff is amazing, and there are endless options to pick from.
Diane Cox (3/28/25, 11:17 AM):
This gym is absolutely massive, spotlessly clean, and the staff are always so friendly and polite. The personal trainers here really know their stuff. There's a vast array of equipment available and plenty of diverse workout classes to choose from!
Timothy Miller (3/27/25, 3:21 PM):
They didn't provide the complete 3-day trial as promised. Grow up.
Terry Nelson (3/26/25, 6:14 PM):
They be chargin' ya when ye try to cancel, everyone in this section speakin' the truth. They be chargin' ya maintenance fee the second time ye show up even though they said I be havin' a membership that I canceled. Why be chargin' me maintenance fee when ye can barely find a machine ye wanna work out on? Then I went in and tried to cancel, and he be sayin' I couldn't cancel it because it had a due, so they be continuin' to try and charge me card. So, I got another one.
Scott Flores (3/26/25, 12:53 PM):
Absolutely smashing gym, top-notch staff, and a jolly good atmosphere!
I say, when I first caught wind of a spiffing new, grand gym making its way to Lafayette, I was simply over the moon. Without delay, I signed up with Club4Fitness as soon as they began enrolling members. I must say, I do count myself among the founding members. Ever since the gym flung its doors open, I've witnessed loads of folks making the switch as well, and quite rightly so. When compared to other local gyms, I reckon Club4Fitness offers the best bang for your buck. Not only do they keep the place spick and span, but they boast a jolly good selection of equipment to get your sweat on. The gym manners they expect everyone to adhere to create a perfect atmosphere for cracking some proper good workouts.
Having perused the other reviews out there, I must say I find meself in agreement that the initial sign-up process did drag on a bit, but I was prepared for that given the gym's newness and the staff still ironing out the kinks. To those reviewers who are quick to give a pukka establishment a poor rating just because it took a tad longer than expected, I say, show a bit of understanding or explore alternative means of joining (e.g. online). Don't go giving a place "nul points" because you weren't given speedy service. Exercise some consideration, won't you?
All things considered, it's only been a month since their grand opening, so we shall see if the gym perseveres on the road to triumph. As it stands, I can wholeheartedly recommend it!
Marilyn Hamilton (3/26/25, 12:13 AM):
This gym, let me tell ya, is the absolute pits. I'm telling you, they sneak in all these extra charges, and cancelling your membership? It's a bloomin' nightmare, mate. They'll keep on charg'in ya, mark my words. Steer clear of this gym, I'm telling ya.
Beverly James (3/25/25, 2:21 PM):
I 'ave been a member of this gym for jus' over a year and couldn't be more appreciative of the level of service they offer.
Jose Cox (3/25/25, 11:39 AM):
The gym itself is decent. The staff is average at most… I suppose friendly, helpful workers are tough to come by 🤷🏻♀️😞 …
Justin Phillips (3/25/25, 8:11 AM):
I've been frequenting Reds for a couple of years. I'm looking for an alternative for when they shut down. I really enjoy the equipment they have here. It gives me a good pump ;)
Douglas Rivera (3/24/25, 2:15 PM):
Oh mate, been loving the gym for ages but blimey, cancelling is an absolute nightmare, I tell ya. Endless phone calls, having to repeat meself over and over just to get 'em to process the cancellation. And get this, even if you cancel before the due date, they still want you to pay for that month. Absolutely bonkers, if you ask me.
Barbara Roberts (3/23/25, 10:34 AM):
If they offered a month-to-month option, that would be fantastic. However, I am still being billed by the billing company even though I have relocated to another state. When I send my proof of relocation, they cease responding but the charges continue!
Sean Thomas (3/23/25, 1:25 AM):
My dear, I must warn you not to place your trust in this particular gym establishment. Avoid, at all costs, the sharing of your credit or debit card details with them. On numerous occasions, I have discovered that the gym has wrongfully deducted membership fees from my debit card for a single month's worth of usage. Attempts to contact them to rectify this issue have proven futile, as no one seems to be reachable for assistance. They lure you in with promises of a 'first month free' offer, only to later charge you double for the subsequent month without a second thought. Be wise and steer clear of such deceptive practices, my friend.
Rose Rivera (3/22/25, 7:53 AM):
I 'ad some issues wif logging into the bloomin' app. I asked several staff about me issue and they told me to wait 3-5 days. Well today I got lucky. Trey was super helpful and very sweet. He fixed it in less than five minutes and explained the whole process of 'ow to work the app and sync it to me watch. Thank you Trey!!!!
Sara Gomez (3/22/25, 6:45 AM):
This is absolutely the most atrocious gym I have ever encountered! The staff, and particularly the management, treat us, paying patrons, as if we were rubbish. Never have I dealt with such discourteous individuals, who will arbitrarily charge your card triple the sum of the monthly subscription. If your heart's desire is to be treated as if you were worth a paltry $15, then by all means, this is the establishment for you.
Sandra Diaz (3/21/25, 3:10 PM):
Oh dear, what a dreadful experience with Kali. I approached her while she was deep in conversation with a colleague and patiently waited for them to finish. But not once did she make eye contact or acknowledge my presence, she just carried on chatting away. Even though I was standing right in front of her clearly wanting to ask about using the red light machine that requires them to press a button. After being completely ignored, I decided to turn and leave. She didn't even attempt to stop me, just continued chatting with her coworker. The gym has become far too crowded now, and they're taking up large chunks of equipment for classes. I've made the decision to cancel my membership and find another gym. Thank you, Kali, for helping me save money for my family for a few months.
Gary Baker (3/21/25, 1:44 PM):
Lovely gym, very tidy with loads of machines and weights, but can get a bit busy at times.
