Overall, the gym studio is decent, but we've been satisfied customers for the past 3 years. However, it was quite disappointing to discover that they wouldn't allow us to join the class because we were 7 minutes late. They have a strict policy of only allowing a 5-minute grace period, and they seemed willing to let us cancel our membership over it. Additionally, there is a late fee if you arrive after the allotted time.

In brief, the staff and trainers at Orange Theory are friendly, the classes are decent, but there are hidden fees and a frustrating cancellation policy reminiscent of that infamous gym in Friends where Chandler couldn't escape.

Regarding the classes, they consist of half an hour of treadmill work followed by half an hour of HITT involving weightlifting and rowing. The music is enjoyable, instructors are pleasant, and the orange lighting adds a cool touch. However, the routine can become monotonous quickly, especially considering the price.

One key aspect is the heart monitor, which is essential for tracking your workout data on the main screens. While it's provided in the free trial class, post-sign-up you'll need to purchase it for over $100 or rent it for $10 per session, subject to availability. This felt somewhat misleading to me, as I wasn't informed about this upfront.

The most exasperating aspect is the cancellation policy. To terminate your membership, you must buy another month after your last payment, effectively extending your commitment. Despite canceling in August after my recent payment, I'll still be charged until November due to this policy outlined in the contract.

Although I usually don't leave reviews, the unjust cancellation procedure compelled me to share my experience to warn others. If you're considering joining, I suggest negotiating the removal of this clause upfront or brace yourself for a similarly detailed account of frustration upon cancellation.
