If you enjoy your privacy and seclusion, Carbon is the perfect choice. I recommend visiting in the morning, early afternoon, or close to closing time for a more peaceful experience.

The interior is impeccably clean, and most of the equipment feels almost brand new. It's clear that they take great care of their machines.

The music playing from the speakers can be a tad loud, but it adds to the vibrant gym atmosphere.

Despite being on the smaller side, the gym never feels cramped due to the limited number of people allowed in at a time. While there aren't many squat racks and they are a bit compact, there is a smith machine available for bench pressing, as well as various adjustable benches for dumbbells. The gym provides all necessary cable accessories, and other equipment is typically abundant and easy to access. If you have specific preferences for machines, don't hesitate to reach out to the management; they are friendly and open to accommodating popular requests for new equipment.

While some may consider the membership fees pricey, the value compared to other gyms is similar. The real distinction lies in additional perks like guest passes, which other gyms may offer. However, for individual members, the cost difference is negligible.

We're also incredibly lucky that the members here seem to grasp and follow all the rules of proper gym etiquette. Plates always get reracked, dumbbells are neatly lined up - it's a dream come true. The early morning crew is courteous, not overly chatty, and doesn't hog equipment while having lengthy conversations. Everyone's there to put in the work, and that vibe really elevates the atmosphere.

Ladies, let me tell you, one of the things I despise most about big corporate gyms is dealing with those "creepers." It breaks my heart to see what some women have to endure from the worst kinds of men in those places. Situated in a prime central spot in the heart of SCV, Carbon boasts a wide array of top-notch equipment suitable for both novices and seasoned athletes alike. A real winner, I'd say!

There may be a problem that I'm not seeing or they aren't accepting any more memberships, but I've been waiting for at least a week for an email response to tour the facility as indicated on the website, so I can enroll afterwards. It seems odd to have to contact a business multiple times just to spend my money at their facility; it should be the opposite. I believe Britney should check her emails and perhaps even her spam folders, as there are probably other people waiting as well.

Update - The owner is extremely rude and appears entitled, as if everyone should be serving her. Customer service, anyone? Apologies that your passive income business isn't as passive as you thought and actually requires some effort. It's amusing how she responds to my review quicker than she does to her emails. Also, Britney isn't wrong, just not spelled the same way as her name is. I simply copied and pasted the email from the website. But anyhow, Britany, I recommend you check your emails as there are probably others waiting. I'll take a pass on this gym. Taking a quick look at your rules, I didn't realize gyms could be so strict - a content creator membership?... what a joke! I suppose you have to be the one that strong arms when you don't want to pay for actual staff to run a business. Best of luck, to each their own I suppose.

A fantastic gym for getting your workouts in. Impeccably tidy, with everyone conscientiously returning equipment to its rightful place. The plate organization is a thing of beauty. The atmosphere is truly inspiring. While it may be pricier than your standard commercial gym, the quality far surpasses it - the standards are top-notch across the board. A truly exceptional gym culture. If you're seeking a local gym to back, I cannot sing the praises of Carbon Fit loud enough.

This gym provides a fantastic setting for exercising. You simply must give it a go to fully appreciate it. Personally, I'm not a fan of the harsh lighting in other gyms, but there's something about working out in a dimly lit gym that makes it incredibly soothing and pleasant. The members are all very tidy and polite. It's refreshing to see that nobody is monopolizing a machine and engrossed in their phone instead of putting in the work.
