Membership Required

While enjoying these amenities, a membership is required to gain access to the gym. Many members have expressed appreciation for the large space and variety of equipment available. However, it’s important to note that experiences with the membership process can vary, with some reporting challenges and unhelpful staff interactions during sign-up.

The Atmosphere

The overall atmosphere of LA Fitness Valencia is generally regarded as lively and energetic. Many appreciate the spacious layout that allows for ample movement, making workouts less claustrophobic compared to smaller facilities. However, during peak hours, the gym can become quite crowded, leading to longer wait times for equipment. Several members have mentioned the importance of gym etiquette among users to maintain a positive environment.

In summary, LA Fitness in Valencia, California stands out for its wide range of amenities, including a basketball court, swimming pool, spacious showers, and a sauna. Joe Hamilton (5/10/25, 2:18 AM):
This gym is absolutely fantastic. There's a vast array of equipment available, and despite there being a large number of members working out, it still feels incredibly roomy.
Benjamin Simmons (5/9/25, 1:41 AM):
Spick and span, loads of room, and the folk here have top-notch gym manners, I must say! What more could you ask for, eh?
Pamela Kelly (5/7/25, 4:22 AM):
Lovely gym, but as a swimmer, I found the pool to be quite crowded and overly chlorinated. I had to exit after just five minutes. The shower water also seemed to have a lot of chlorine. My experiences there were quite unsatisfactory during the two or three times I visited.
Noah Edwards (5/6/25, 8:07 AM):
The gym's got plenty of gear to make it a solid spot for a workout, but they've done away with the free weight curl bars. There's a bit of a lack in promoting proper gym etiquette, as there are no signs reminding folks to re-rack their weights or clean up after themselves. Despite having trash cans around, garbage still tends to pile up. There's this back machine that relies on weight plates for support, but they keep breaking and disappearing over time. A while back, there was a shortage of 10lb. Plates, but even after new ones were brought in, the machine still keeps breaking them. It's a simple fix, but no one's taken the initiative to address it.

The weight room isn't really set up for cross training, yet some folks hog multiple pieces of equipment without any intention of sharing or allowing others to work in. There aren't any signs encouraging people to stick to one piece of equipment at a time or promoting common courtesy, like not monopolizing machines while texting. This gym has great potential if LA Fitness staff cared enough to implement some positive changes for the benefit of all customers. Here's hoping the employees take pride in their work and start promoting these suggested improvements that can elevate the gym experience.
Brian Martin (5/5/25, 4:38 AM):
I've just terminated my membership, as I have a preference for doing laps at the Aquatic Center. The gym's amenities were well-maintained, but the pool was excessively chlorinated and too heated for serious lap swimmers. The cancellation process was swift and effective, although surprisingly, they didn't inquire about the reason for ending my long-standing membership since their opening.
Robert Scott (5/4/25, 5:49 PM):
I do wish I could speak positively about this establishment, old chap. Alas, it is rather unkempt, with perpetually malfunctioning equipment. They once provided cable television for entertainment while on the treadmill, but now it seems they only offer a single sports channel, which simply does not suit my fancy. The place is dreadfully overcrowded, and one often finds weights strewn about haphazardly by inconsiderate patrons. Quite regrettably, it is not a particularly splendid locale to frequent, I must say! Cheerio!
Lawrence Hall (5/4/25, 2:59 AM):
This LA Fitness establishment is truly top-notch. The gym is equipped with state-of-the-art gear and offers a wide range of amenities including a pool, a brand-new HIIT studio, TRX equipment, basketball court, saunas, and more. It spans across two spacious floors. The staff members are incredibly friendly and attentive - when I recently sprained my ankle, they kindly assisted me in opening doors and even guided me to the arm machines. The welcoming atmosphere here is simply unmatched.
Emily Torres (5/3/25, 2:26 AM):
This gym is truly top-notch, with all the necessary equipment for an optimal workout experience.
Sharon Moore (5/2/25, 9:06 AM):
I absolutely adore this gym. It's always spotless and the equipment is always in top-notch condition. I've been a member for 16 years and wouldn't dream of going elsewhere. It feels fantastic to be back after the challenges of Covid!
Linda Peterson (5/1/25, 9:47 PM):
The LA Fitness spot in Valencia is surely one of the biggest locations you can find. It boasts a pool, racquetball courts, a spacious indoor cycling room, a basketball court, and an exercise room.
Brittany Morales (4/29/25, 6:49 AM):
I would have to say, this gym is an absolute disaster. I swear, it's the dodgiest operation I've ever set foot in. To lure me into signing up, they spun this yarn about a special deal for folks who work at Best Buy (I don't), and assured me they could enroll me in it! Turns out, that was all baloney, as I discovered a month later when they overcharged me and wouldn't cough up a refund. Instead of dealing with the sales guy (who was all "I'll cover the extra cost," yet another fib), I started dealing with the manager, who just kept stringing me along with false promises of refunds and a free switch to a different plan. Three weeks passed with zilch progress (even though I checked in every week), but I persevered until one day he's like, "We can change you over to the other plan, just pay a hundred bucks for initiation fees, and we'll refund you" (yeah, right, based on my experience, that refund was never gonna happen). That's when I said enough and canceled my membership to cut my losses. This gym is pure scam central! Take heed.

And on top of all that, the place is a pigsty, and good luck trying to snag a spot in the weights area. People just hog the machines and dumbbells forever.
Samantha Powell (4/27/25, 7:01 AM):
This gym is quite a hit or miss from my perspective. It can be somewhat enjoyable when it's not crowded, but if you visit during peak times, good luck getting a decent workout in. Folks tend to linger on the machines and monopolize the free weights for ages. Not to mention the overall lack of organization is astounding. It seems like the patrons here have no regard for putting equipment/weights back in their rightful place. Additionally, the equipment itself appears to be antiquated and in need of an upgrade. It may be high time for them to modernize a number of aspects.
David Brooks (4/27/25, 2:37 AM):
A top-notch gym with plenty of space and a wide variety of equipment, very much in line with other LA Fitness or Esporta locations in the chain. The only downside is some members here tend to behave as if they were at a gym in Atlanta, Detroit, or Chicago, if you catch my drift. They have a habit of leaving plates and dumbbells scattered around after use! Personally, I believe that management should take action by implementing membership suspensions or terminations for those who don't follow the rules, and encourage staff to actively maintain order instead of idly sitting at the front desk playing with their phones. Just my two cents.
Brandon Lee (4/27/25, 1:28 AM):
I was attempting to enroll a friend in my complimentary 3-month membership, but the staff member I encountered seemed unable to assist me and essentially implied that I needed to resolve the issue on my own. Additionally, they repeatedly urged me to simply upgrade my membership to "avoid any hassle," giving the impression that their primary concern was profits. Why should I pay to include someone when the offer clearly states it's free for 3 months? Their service lacked friendliness and included snide remarks questioning if my friend would continue beyond the trial period. Obviously, the intention is to evaluate the service during the complimentary 3 months.
