I must say, my experience at Ekata has been absolutely phenomenal. It's honestly the best martial arts school I've ever had the pleasure of attending. The facility itself is stunning - impeccably clean with a serene spa-like ambiance that really sets it apart. And let me tell you, the owner Sifu Ed is just fantastic. He's so friendly, approachable, and really puts you at ease. He's more than happy to address any queries you might have and guides you seamlessly through the membership process.

The Muay Thai Kickboxing class with Samantha has been a standout for me. She's truly amazing - providing a killer workout while also taking the time to break down the techniques and help you perfect your form. I haven't yet had the chance to try out all their classes, but they offer a wide variety and I'm eager to delve into them soon, particularly the Kettlebells and Zumba sessions.

Ekata is just the ticket for me, mate. I jolly well bid farewell to another nearby gym 'cause I was itching to up my fitness game. I was after more than just a set of weights and a chipper instructor bouncing about, reminding me to breathe. I craved a thorough overhaul for both body and mind, and Ekata delivers just that. Mindfulness, arts like dance and singing, various martial arts disciplines, kettlebells - you name it, they've got it. It's the whole kit and caboodle for those aiming to emerge as a well-rounded and serene individual. Count me in, it's an absolute gem.

Ekata offers a wide array of classes and events to suit all preferences. It's fantastic for families to engage together and focus on mindfulness.

This training centre is designed for the overall well-being of Mind, Body, and Spirit. It's the hidden gem of Santa Clarita, mate.
Amelia Graham (5/2/25, 11:11 PM):
A delightful spot nestled in the heart of Santa Clarita. My lads, aged 8, 9, and 13, have been immersing themselves in the art of Jeet Kune Do at this martial arts school for about a year and a half now, and the transformation in their confidence and drive has been truly remarkable. The classes serve as a reinforcement of the values my spouse and I strive to instill in them at home... respect, focus, pride in all endeavors, staying active, and striving to be the best versions of themselves. At Ekata, they put in the effort, equipping them with the tools to establish a lifestyle that will stay with them for life.

I observe families who engage in martial arts training here going a step further by nurturing their bodies through the various fitness activities on offer, as well as incorporating mindful meditation. We practice meditation within our own abode, and witnessing its significance here is indeed a wonderful thing.

Ekata transcends the typical gyms and training facilities commonly seen around town. It genuinely is a place that centers on personal growth and evolves into a close-knit family. Ekata fosters the mind to overcome barriers and push past limitations, encouraging individuals to slow down, breathe, and fully embrace the present moment. While learning martial arts is a valuable skill, the life lessons imparted here are truly invaluable.

If there ever was a community worth becoming a part of, this would be it. For your children. For yourself.
Raymond Wilson (5/1/25, 2:55 PM):
I absolutely adore the mindset of everyone at this dojo, and the staff are always so warm and welcoming. It's truly a fantastic place to hone your skills and enhance both your physical and mental well-being.
Marilyn Lewis (5/1/25, 8:28 AM):
You simply must go and experience it for yourself, mate.
Ralph Green (4/30/25, 6:57 AM):
What a fantastic spot for the mind, body, and soul! The staff and fellow members are top-notch as well!
Cheryl James (4/29/25, 3:02 PM):
It's a fantastic spot for the whole family to train, attend classes, or even indulge in a relaxing message. My missus and I truly feel like we're part of a tight-knit kin there. Offering a range of disciplines such as Martial Arts, Yoga, Zumba, and Meditation for all ages, I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Louis Richardson (4/27/25, 8:38 AM):
A truly fantastic choice, especially if you have multiple children. I have a shy child who is gaining confidence and a spirited one who is learning to focus her energy. The instructors quickly recognized their personalities and are dedicated to a mindful teaching approach. I appreciate the availability of a meditation room for both members and parents. What stands out most to me is the unique feature that sets this martial arts school apart in Santa Clarita - a gym in the waiting area! There's no excuse not to exercise while keeping an eye on your child. Simply perfect.
Lauren Myers (4/27/25, 8:18 AM):
Ekata is truly a fantastic place for children and the whole family to train, learn, and develop. My lad has been a student there for two years, while I've been attending for one year, and even my wife has joined in on classes. The atmosphere is incredibly positive and supportive, fostered not only by the staff but also by the families who are part of the community.

They offer a superb after-school program and a wide variety of classes for kids, teenagers, and adults, including Jeet Kune Do, Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Muy Thai, Savate (featuring a competition team), Meditation, Yoga, and Weapons classes.

The staff members are exceptional and always ready to assist students of all ages in their learning journey. Sifu Ed is among the most amiable and approachable individuals I've ever encountered, and he interacts wonderfully with both parents and children. Throughout our time at Ekata, we have never encountered any issues with the staff.

Numerous safety measures and regulations are in place to ensure the well-being of children and adults alike, in the gym, locker rooms, during classes, and in the after-school program.

Sometimes, individuals who may exhibit certain behaviors forget the importance of respect, self-discipline, and kindness that are emphasized at Ekata. When these individuals encounter those who strive to instill these values in others, their behavior typically does not align well with the ethos of the school.
