My great-grandson Liam is a tad hyperactive. Ever since he started attending Gladiators, he appears to be settling down. Eric is especially adept at handling kids like Liam. He strikes a good balance between being firm and kind, and the children respond positively to him. I wholeheartedly endorse this establishment. It is definitely a worthwhile investment.

I enrolled for a trial class to get a sense of what the gym offered. I was quite excited about my class. While I have no prior experience in MMA, I did have some training in boxing. The instructor, "Justice", was rather impolite and impatient with me. It's unrealistic to expect me to grasp something completely new on the spot. I'm unfamiliar with grappling techniques. "You mentioned you boxed before, but I'm starting to doubt that," was an unnecessary and disrespectful remark. Justice is not accommodating towards beginners. I rate my experience a 2 because a fellow student I trained with was patient and taught me a few techniques. I believe his name was Trey, and I appreciate his help.

I 'ave been trainin' in Martial Arts for well over 10 years and 'ave been competin' at the amateur level for around 2 years. I needed to take me trainin' to the next level to pursue me dreams and goals, so I began lookin' outside of me small town in North East Texas.
I looked at movin' to 'ighly regarded gyms like Jacksons in New Mexico, but found a world class facility and instructors much closer in Lafayette, LA. I came down, did me free trial and knew that this was the place I needed to be.
Three weeks later I moved 300 miles away from everythin' I've ever known to come train with Master Tim Credeur, Coach Dustin Poirier and Coach Christian Fulgium. I've been livin' 'ere for almost a year and it is one of the best decisions I've ever made. This gym has given me a new life, new friends and a new career when I was really unsure of where me life was 'eaded. Make no mistake this place really does turn people into better people!

The review asked me to 'describe my experience', life changing is how I would describe it. I've been involved in martial arts since my early 20's, training at various Muay Thai gyms back in my home country. When I moved to the USA, it took me 6 years to find a gym that felt like home, and Gladiators was that place. It's where I decided to enroll my first child, and eventually my other two kids as well. Gladiators introduced me to the world of BJJ and all its benefits. This is my extended family, who understand that my commitment to martial arts fluctuates along with my life and responsibilities. They support me during intense training periods and welcome me back when I need to take it easy. The top-notch training available here is always there for me whenever I need it. Martial Arts is one of the most challenging personal journeys, almost on par with fatherhood, and in some ways even tougher. I wouldn't trust this ongoing journey with anyone else but this gym.

It must be crystal clear that with 28 reviews boasting a perfect 5-star rating, at the time of writing this, this Martial arts school stands out as one of the finest MMA gyms and fight camps you can attend, and easily the best in LA. Having visited 5 different gyms in LA myself, I can confidently say there is no competition when it comes to facilities or coaching. Tim, the owner and head coach, is an exceptional mentor. You might expect some level of arrogance from an ex-UFC fighter, but that couldn't be further from the truth. He is incredibly modest and approachable.
I am not one to typically leave reviews, and this is not my regular training spot. That should speak volumes about how exceptional this place truly is.
