Great workout, mate! They market it as "training like a top athlete", and they're spot on. For us non-athletes, it would be ace to have more cues for modifications and some banging tunes to keep us going strong! No cheesy or slow jams, yeah? Hip hop, EDM, techno, or something with a bit more oomph would really get everyone hyped up.

I've been going to Elevate for years. It's a fantastic HIIT workout, similar to Barry's, Orange Theory, etc., but with less pretentiousness. The instructors are all amazing.

This place is truly a gem.

I've been attending this studio for a little over 2 years now. Each coach has their own unique style, but they all share a similar dedication to promoting good health. What sets this studio apart are the small details. They often incorporate partner workouts more frequently than other similar studios, and it feels deliberate - a way to create a positive atmosphere and help everyone feel more at ease. Just like the coaches, the class attendees vary greatly. Unlike other places like Barry's or OTF, where the crowd can be quite homogeneous, here you'll find a diverse mix of people from the DC area.

Everyone works at their own pace and level, and you'll see individuals just starting out with HIIT alongside hardcore enthusiasts (my first class was next to a 7-month pregnant woman who was absolutely crushing it). The instruction on proper form is top-notch, especially from Jamel! I highly recommend giving this place a shot!!!

Ah, mate! This was me first go at a group fitness sesh, and let me tell ya, it was no walk in the park. The drills are all about keepin' that heart rate up with non-stop interval training. I totally misjudged how much energy I'd need and realized just how out of shape I'd gotten, especially after bustin' me clavicle six months back. Couldn't quite keep up with the rest of the crew, and to top it off, I was the only bloke there 😓

But cheers to Desiree, the personal trainer who was super friendly and kept me motivated. It's a solid start for folks like me lookin' to make the most of a one-hour workout with a coach who can really push ya to see results.

I'm up for the challenge and reckon I'll be joinin' in again soon. Cheers! 🏋️‍♂️

The best workout in DC (for all levels of fitness!) I joined Elevate when it opened in 2014 and have been hooked ever since. The workouts and coaches are extremely engaging and you will see a drastic improvement in your overall athleticism with just a class or two a week. The music selection and equipment are also top-notch!
