Gloria Reyes (5/10/25, 1:49 PM):
The yoga studio is quite lovely and tidy, bearing a striking resemblance to other chain yoga studios. I've been a member at Core Power for a decade now. Recently, I attended Shannon Ardo's Hot Yoga class. In all my years of practicing yoga, I've never felt as uneasy as I did in this class. I would advise those with injuries to steer clear of this instructor. She adheres to a one-size-fits-all approach, where she believes she knows your body better than you do. She even insisted that I stop using a block to support my lower back injury. This made it incredibly uncomfortable for me to listen to my body and adjust as needed during the class. It felt as though I was being scolded by a strict teacher for not following their rules. I wanted to warn other athletes who turn to yoga to rehabilitate their injuries and may struggle to achieve every pose perfectly.

I absolutely adored my first experience in a sculpt yoga class! Sami, our instructor, was simply fabulous. The combination of incorporating weights with the warmth, pace of the class, and music created an exceptional workout. I would strongly suggest trying it out!
Allison Parker (5/9/25, 5:00 PM):
They make a big deal about their fancy locker rooms, but truth be told, the studios were a bit old-fashioned and the locker rooms were a total mess with lockers that were dirty or falling apart. It all felt a tad pretentious and more like a scolding than actual instruction.

The whole experience felt very business-like and not personal at all.

Out of the two instructors I had classes with (one was at the Highlands Ranch spot), neither of them actually did yoga during the class and didn't even bring their own mats.

During the hot class, we were informed that "water is a distraction" and were only allowed to drink water when given permission. The instructors also gave incorrect guidance on poses like Eagle pose and arm placement.

Their cues were so off that even as someone who has been doing yoga for a long time, I found myself confused. One of the instructors told us off for looking in the mirror. With the cues being so poor, I had to watch other yogis to figure out the postures, yet it felt like that wasn't "allowed". How are you supposed to improve and set goals if you can't admire others' practice?

Overall, the whole experience left me with some really negative vibes that I just couldn't shake. No one has bothered to check if I'm happy with my membership or if I have any concerns. I have no intention of going back.

I absolutely adore the instructors, especially Bird!!
Jeffrey Lee (4/28/25, 3:39 PM):
I absolutely adore CorePower Yoga. Mary and Emily are absolutely fabulous (and I'm certain all the instructors are equally fantastic!)

After a session, I depart feeling complete, serene, tranquil, and prepared for anything.

Big thanks to CorePower for the soothing atmosphere and the positivity you contribute to the world.

Namaste!
James King (4/26/25, 8:05 PM):
So welcoming and got me all set up for my class even though I wasn't, with a mat, towels, and an open heart. Thank you kindly.
Ruth Jordan (4/23/25, 10:17 PM):
I knew I enjoyed yoga, but I had only taken a few drop-in classes until I signed up for a membership at Corepower, and it has been absolutely worth it. Every time I attend a class, I feel happier and healthier, and the instructors are truly amazing, especially Tonya who teaches the hot yoga classes on Friday mornings. I will be relocating soon, so I will have to find another studio, but it will definitely be worth the drive to continue attending her class!
Johnny Anderson (4/23/25, 10:16 AM):
I absolutely adore yoga, and I was looking for something that would bring an extra level of intensity to my practice. Core Yoga hot hit the nail on the head! I did 10 sessions to give it a go. The first class was complimentary, which was a great way for me to get a feel for their style. Wendy Randall is an amazing instructor with a dynamic flow. She does a brilliant job of keeping everyone engaged and her transitions are seamless.
Denise Henderson (4/19/25, 6:29 AM):
I'm a complete beginner and I feel at ease but also pushed outside my comfort zone here.
Donna Brooks (4/19/25, 2:18 AM):
I’ve been consistently attending for a month now, and I've noticed a considerable improvement in my strength and the quality of my poses. I mainly attend C1 classes with Sheena N. Her classes are absolutely fantastic! I make it a point to attend whenever she's the instructor. She genuinely pays attention to my form, makes necessary adjustments, and celebrates my progress in poses. Starting my practice with her class has been a blessing as it has provided a strong foundation for me to explore other classes. I've also tried hot, sculpt, restore, c2, and csx classes, and they are all quite challenging. I admire all the instructors I've come across so far, and I am excited about reaping the full benefits of my practice.
Dennis Gutierrez (4/17/25, 1:51 AM):
Incredible instructors! Mary, SanJay, Emily...and the list continues! What an absolutely splendid studio!!!
Mark Phillips (4/16/25, 7:21 AM):
I 'ave ne'er 'ad a jolly good experience wiv this 'ere organization...
Evelyn Hamilton (4/13/25, 6:44 PM):
Hot yoga was absolutely brilliant. Shannon, the instructor, is incredibly welcoming and skillfully guides you through each adjustment necessary to achieve more effective poses. I felt significantly rejuvenated afterwards, surpassing any post-massage or chiropractic session. The studio is pristine and stylish. I'm itching to return as soon as possible!
Joshua Flores (4/12/25, 8:30 PM):
Wendy is absolutely brilliant! She expresses the sequence of poses clearly and confidently, and her approach is more imaginative than most; I find this aspect incredibly delightful as it brings a fresh perspective to both the body and mind. Her themed classes (perfect for meditation) are also a lovely touch 💛 I wholeheartedly recommend CPY ...
Leonard Hill (4/11/25, 5:51 AM):

Jean Kelly (4/9/25, 10:03 AM):
I absolutely adore Bird's Heated C1 Yoga class on Sundays at 6pm! I have never experienced a more enjoyable yoga class than Bird's. The way Bird kicks up the heat and humidity adds an extra layer of intensity to the practice. As the class gets fuller, Bird often dials down the heat after about 15 minutes, creating a warm ambiance through our collective effort.

Bird's choice of playing classic rock tunes during the session adds an energetic vibe, and his rapid pace through sun salutations keeps me fully engaged. I appreciate how this fast flow prevents my mind from wandering off into thoughts about post-class errands or upcoming tasks for the week.

I have developed a deep fondness for Bird's class, and it would truly sadden me if he were to ever stop teaching it.
Ronald Foster (4/7/25, 8:12 AM):
Without a doubt, the best CPY studio around. I make the journey from Parker just to partake in the classes and instructors here. It's an incredibly inviting and welcoming space, impeccably clean, and the instructors are top-notch. I have a particular fondness for the Hot yoga sessions led by Kris, Shannon, and Emily. This studio has truly captured my heart!
Diane Butler (4/4/25, 4:57 PM):
Vanessa's eagerness to push boundaries, passion, and background in physical therapy truly enhance the yoga practice. It's an experience everyone should partake in.
Timothy Price (4/2/25, 8:06 PM):
CorePower Yoga is absolutely brilliant. I am ever so grateful that I stumbled upon this lovely studio and began my yoga journey 5 years back in this delightful community.
Evelyn Bailey (3/31/25, 8:38 PM):
The studio is fantastic, with lovely folks.

Canceling a membership at CorePower Yoga can be a bit of a headache, though.

Feeling a bit overwhelmed in a room with 20 people, so I'm taking a little break.
