Yesterday, our family of four had a splendid experience delving into the art and craft of glassmaking. Spencer served as an excellent instructor, displaying patience and expertise as we, lacking any prior experience, absorbed all there was to learn. Engaging conversations and captivating demonstrations with Spencer left us thoroughly entertained. A 100% recommendation without hesitation!

My mate and I were in search of a chill way to kick off our Sunday after a day on the slopes and chanced upon Karen's yoga studio. Karen was an absolutely top-notch teacher. She had a wealth of knowledge and made us feel right at home. Looking forward to dropping by on our next trip to Warren!

Spencer was absolutely brilliant. We really enjoyed the insights into the art of glassmaking that he shared during our form/slumped plate class. He was accommodating, knowledgeable, and very supportive! I would definitely recommend him if you're seeking a fun and distinctive activity to try out while in Vermont!

I recently booked Karen for a pre-wedding yoga session for me and my friends at the charming Inn at Round Barn. Karen was an absolute pleasure to coordinate with and she showed up promptly with all the necessary mats, saving us the hassle of lugging them around! Her class was tailored perfectly to our requirements and left all of us feeling truly impressed. I can't recommend her classes highly enough!

Austin Anderson (5/17/25, 6:46 PM):
My missus and I popped by this place during our honeymoon and had a jolly good time spending an afternoon with Spencer, crafting some rather delightful beads. Spencer was a font of knowledge, ever so patient, and quite kind as we took our sweet time getting the hang of things, haha! But we all enjoyed ourselves thoroughly, and that's what truly counts. We wholeheartedly suggest paying a visit and trying your hand at glassblowing, and why not throw in a spot of yoga while you're at it!
Amanda Cooper (5/12/25, 12:48 AM):
My partner and I had a wonderful experience during our weekend trip to Vermont last October. While driving around, we came across the yoga studio and saw a sign for their glass pumpkin pop-up event. Intrigued, we decided to sign up for a session the following day. Upon entering the studio, we were warmly greeted by Spencer and Karen who shared fascinating details about their establishment. Spencer expertly led us through the process of creating our own glass pumpkins, allowing us to participate hands-on. We had the opportunity to choose our preferred colors and truly relished the entire activity! We can't wait to visit again for their upcoming seasonal events throughout the year.
Joe Bennett (5/8/25, 9:20 PM):
My family attended a glass plate cutting and designing workshop with Spencer at the Yoga studio last week on a rainy morning. It was the best part of our vacation! Spencer is a wonderful and patient instructor who gladly addressed all our inquiries. The studio ambiance is simply stunning. Our daughter is already thinking about the next class she would love to take there if we visit the area again 😃. The plates turned out beautifully and make for a delightful memento of our trip. I wholeheartedly recommend it!
Michelle Bailey (5/8/25, 12:47 AM):
Just go for it, mate! The missus and I attended a fused glass plate making class at this Yoga studio the other day, and we had an absolute blast. Spencer, the instructor, was top-notch - really knowledgable, friendly, and willing to take his time with us. You can't help but leave with a newfound appreciation for glass artistry. We're planning on swinging by again soon, and I'm keen on taking another class with him. Cheers!
Johnny Miller (5/5/25, 4:39 PM):
What a brilliant and enjoyable experience! We attended the glass fusing and slumping class with Spencer, and it was absolutely fantastic. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable time while in the vicinity. Our anticipation to use the plates is palpable!

I recently enrolled my family in the flameworking class as a Christmas present, and we absolutely loved it! Spencer was a fantastic instructor, and the experience was truly one-of-a-kind. I'm eager to return for more learning sessions :)
Elizabeth Rogers (4/27/25, 11:38 AM):
Finally writing this review that's been long overdue. During our annual ski trip in February, we were looking for something to do during our off-slope hours. Spencer was simply fantastic - patient and extremely knowledgeable. We loved our first class so much that we immediately signed up for another session the next day. Even my wife, who had never worked with glass before, had a blast and is now looking forward to taking more classes whenever we're back in town. I even suggested the studio to the lovely hosts at the bed and breakfast where we stayed, so they could include it in their list of local activities. Can't wait to visit again next time we're in the area!
Abigail Ward (4/25/25, 4:54 PM):
I recently had the pleasure of attending a weekend yoga retreat at Salt & Sand Studios in September. The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by the beauty of the National Forest. Karen and Spencer, the hosts, were incredibly welcoming and made my experience truly memorable. I took part in rejuvenating yoga classes, a calming walking meditation, and even tried my hand at glass blowing. Although the Airbnb room on the property was fully booked during my visit, I can imagine how wonderful it would be to stay right there amidst such natural beauty. Situated near the Mad River Valley ski area, with Sugarbush just a short 15-minute drive away, this is the perfect spot for those who love to combine skiing and Airbnb stays. I wholeheartedly recommend Salt & Sand Studios for a rejuvenating yoga retreat experience.
Edward Gomez (4/24/25, 8:18 PM):
One of the most fantastic yoga classes I've ever attended. An absolutely amazing yoga experience with Karen. Her love for yoga truly shines through in her nurturing instruction. I can't wait to return to VT and continue taking her classes in the future.
Leonard Ortiz (4/20/25, 5:40 PM):
We had an amazing time! We scheduled our friend for a glass paperweight-making session. The owner is incredibly well-versed in the entire process and the surrounding area. It was a delightful experience!
