It's quite a challenge to transition and locate another gym that matches the excellence of my previous one, but boasting basketball courts and punching bags, this place is truly exceptional. The operating hours are convenient and the staff members are genuinely amiable.
Beverly Gray (6/3/25, 7:12 PM):
Vasa is absolutely my top choice for a gym! The gear is consistently in good working order and well-maintained, and the selection is phenomenal, from the turf workout zones to the pull-up bars and stretching bars, along with all the available accessories. The membership fee is superb, and the manager Joshua and the staff are incredibly friendly. They always greet you warmly and are very helpful with any questions or requests. -Jeremy

It’s a gym. But not for everyone, you know? I’d been going there for nearly a year. It has this great workout vibe, so if you’re a regular and you make gym buddies, it’s spot on. However, the parking situation is always a nightmare, and it's constantly packed, any day, any time, except at opening and closing hours. They've got plenty of trainers who can help you reach your fitness goals, which is pretty cool, but the non-stop clanging of weights and loud grunts just aren’t my thing, you know what I mean? Yet, for some folks I know, it’s like the perfect gym for them.

Great selection of weights and equipment.
Loads of machines available

Friendly basketball crowd.

I must confess that I have not had the opportunity to visit a VASA gym yet at the time of writing this review, and that is precisely the focal point of my commentary. Despite not having set foot inside their facilities, I have received a barrage of text messages and emails from them nearly EVERY DAY, attempting to entice me with various products and services. They are keen on persuading me to enlist the services of a personal trainer, which they claim is complimentary! (Alas, it turns out that the initial session with the trainer, comprising a multitude of exercises, is merely a prelude to revealing that further sessions come with a hefty monthly price tag.) Alternatively, they urge me to upgrade to a higher membership tier, despite my not having fully utilized my current level of membership. Through a QR code on their app, they meticulously monitor each entry and exit from the gym, thus possessing the data that attests to my absence – and yet, just today, I received another text containing a link soliciting a review. So, here you are, as requested – my review.
Joseph Simmons (5/25/25, 4:09 AM):
"It's a smashing gym, I reckon the staff there are simply lovely and truly encouraging. It's always spotless inside, I do wish folks wouldn't go breaking the machines though, haha. And it would be grand if they could operate 24 hours, but overall, it's a jolly good gym!"
Jesse Stewart (5/24/25, 5:25 PM):
I did some training at this gym back in November. It was absolutely brilliant! They've got loads of Hammer Strength equipment, including belt squat and hip thrust machines. There's a dedicated area with squat racks and deadlift platforms. I spent a solid 3 hours there, trying out as much equipment as I could, since I live 2 1/2 hours away and my local gym doesn't have much to offer. The place was spotless, well-maintained, and the staff were top-notch. Big shoutout to Cameron at the front desk - he was super helpful and friendly. I really wish I lived closer so that I could train here every day! The day pass only costs $15.
Deborah Cruz (5/23/25, 1:02 AM):
I had an absolutely splendid time at the gym! The vibes when you first walk in are just top-notch, and my session with Bobby really boosted my confidence in knowing my way around the machines. He introduced me to some fantastic go-to workouts, even during peak hours. Can't wait to go back for more!
Lisa Lewis (5/22/25, 12:52 AM):
Incredible experience thus far! I've recently become a member of this gym after years at a pricier competitor. Tremendous value for the money, and their new class LFT (imagine heavy Olympic lifting in a small group setting) surpasses any similar heavy lifting format I've encountered at other gyms. I've been to quite a few, mind you. I believe it's due to several factors - the dedicated space is exceptional, the equipment is top-notch, and there's ample equipment for everyone. The music, the social element (having a workout partner), the video guidance alongside a motivating and supportive live coach. And the exercises are on point in terms of form and technique. They've really put in the effort and have truly perfected it.

Lisa G at Vasa is also phenomenal and leads the charge like a true professional! This is a must-try if you're looking for gains and results!!! I'm still feeling the effects from my first class on Friday, and I'm accustomed to intense workouts!
Leonard Gray (5/20/25, 6:53 AM):
The gym and the environment are great, but they need to work on training their staff. They deceived me regarding a personal training membership. I have evidence of this. They assured me that canceling would be very simple, but it's not. I've been charged a significant amount of money and didn't even finish the personal training sessions. When joining, they recommended a 6-month commitment, but I expressed my concerns about not being able to complete it. They insisted it would be easy to cancel, failing to mention the $100 cancellation fee. I have currently frozen my subscription, unsure of how to terminate this agreement.
Megan Russell (5/19/25, 3:16 PM):
Always packed no matter the hour you visit. The cancellation policy is a bit cheeky with their supposed 30-day notice period turning into a sneaky 60 days due to their billing cycles. Definitely not my cup of tea.
Linda Phillips (5/19/25, 9:01 AM):
VASA Willow Creek has some top-notch trainers! I had the pleasure of training with Steve Wisniewski for a year, and his knowledge of physiology, personalized training plans, and can-do attitude have really motivated me to keep pushing towards my fitness goals. The variety of classes offered is also fantastic - I've loved every one I've tried so far.
Sophia Coleman (5/16/25, 4:26 PM):
Of the three Vasa gyms I've visited in CO, this one always keeps things clean and appears to be continuously improving equipment to ensure it's operational.

One suggestion I have for them is to consider implementing a scanner on the hydro chairs, a feature that the Smokey Hill and Ken Caryl gyms already have. This would make it more convenient for members, especially during busy times, as we wouldn't always need to ask the staff for assistance.
Kelly Cruz (5/16/25, 9:27 AM):
Arrived here all ready to get my sweat on. The person at the front desk didn't have a clue how to sign me up with active and fit and was quite impolite to me. I reckon he assumed I'd just give up and return another time. In the end, he simply advised me to start working out and return on a different day to sort it out. The gym equipment is packed so tight that you're always bumping into someone else, and the restroom reeks of vape. All in all, not a pleasant experience and I shan't be coming back.
Bradley Gutierrez (5/15/25, 5:32 PM):
Super gym and just around the corner from my place. Tons of free weights, machines, and a really friendly staff. Sean and the gang are always so welcoming. Haven't checked out the other Vasa gyms yet, but if you're local to this one, it's a pretty solid choice.
Harper Roberts (5/14/25, 10:33 PM):
Vasa at Quebec and 470 has always been a splendid spot to get a good workout. The manager, Joshua, never fails to greet me and inquire about my exercises. He's quite courteous and readily assists with any queries I may have.
Margaret Martin (5/12/25, 4:14 AM):
The willow creek vasa honestly changed my life!! Everyone 'ere is alway' so kind and friendly, an' it honestly feels jus' like home! I moved an' live further from this location but still make the trek because it is so worth it to me!! Definitely would recommend for anyone new to fitness or more experienced as well!! oh an' Bobby rocks!!!
Janice Gray (5/11/25, 2:47 PM):
This gym is truly splendid, with top-notch staff and excellent equipment. However, there's a slight issue that can be rather irksome. It's not an easy fix, I must say. The problem lies with the clientele at this gym. I constantly encounter individuals who display rudeness and a sense of entitlement. Now, I consider myself to be quite courteous and try my best to ensure I'm not getting in anyone's way. Yet, it seems like everyone is more focused on becoming YouTube sensations rather than working out. Furthermore, the parking situation is simply outrageous, especially during evening hours. As I mentioned, the gym itself is fantastic, but regrettably, the other gym-goers can make the experience rather unpleasant.
Jose Coleman (5/10/25, 12:03 AM):
That rust-like substance at the bottom of the pool was in the innermost lane just a week ago, and now it has spread to the middle lane, with a tissue floating in the pool as well. I simply cannot fathom why such evident and revolting pollutants aren't promptly cleaned up!
Robert Myers (5/8/25, 4:49 PM):
Top-notch gym, top-notch vibes & chill staff. One of the workers, I reckon his name was Isaac, paid me a compliment as soon as I walked in, which was absolutely lovely. Definitely worth checking out as your go-to spot for a workout!
