My lad did a 5-week personal training course and Jasmine was top-notch with him. He proper enjoyed the sessions and picked up loads of knowledge on the best exercises for him. The gym is always tidy and has heaps of machines to keep your workout enjoyable! Would definitely recommend!!

Absolutely love The Fitness Foundry! I have at last discovered a gym where I feel truly comfortable! It's incredibly clean, offers a wide variety of machines, and is open 24/7. I decided to begin personal training sessions with Jasmine, and I must say, it was the best decision I’ve made! She is so approachable, extremely motivating, and genuinely wants to see you thrive! I began coming 'round these parts in April 2022. I enrolled in the 5-week personal training program and must say, I gained quite a bit of knowledge in addition to getting a proper workout. Jasmine is exceedingly skilled at her craft, and the establishment is maintained in a clean and pleasant manner. This here gym is just perfect, with all the essentials for a good workout!

I cannot express enough the positive experiences I have had with Jasmine and the Fitness Foundry. She is a fantastic trainer in one-on-one sessions. I entered feeling unsure about activities I used to excel at but now struggled with. Jasmine customizes your workout according to your capabilities and any injuries you may have to prevent aggravating them. Rest assured she will also push and encourage you to build the confidence necessary to progress.

The gym itself maintains a high level of cleanliness, with several sanitation stations available to clean equipment and benches, as well as hand sanitizer for personal use. There is an ample supply of free weights for bench presses, squats, deadlifts, and more, along with a small yet quality selection of machines to enhance your workout routine.

While the building is secure, there are no lockers for personal belongings; however, there are cubbies provided for storage and gear bags, as well as cameras for safety purposes.

The missus and I are regulars at Galena, and this was my second go-round using the gym.

It's a splendid spot, with good gear and a very accommodating manager/owner - Jasmine; always ready to lend a hand!!

If you're in the area and in need of a solid workout, this is the spot to be! We bunk at Stoney Creek, and it's only a few minutes away - a thousand times superior to the fitness rooms at the local hotels.

I do reckon them other reviews be coming from bots. This 'ere gym be the most horrendous I've ever stepped foot in, mate. It's proper filthy and rank, smells like piss it does. A fair bit of the gear be ancient and falling apart. They've made a few upgrades recently, but it's mostly just basic home gym kit. The place be tiny, and sometimes ye can't even find space to work out. I only stuck around 'cause it was the lone gym in town. Soon as a new one opened up, I was gone quicker than you can say "fitness." The owner be a right unprofessional one, didn't even bother showing up on time when I tried to join. And then she mucked up canceling my membership after I followed her instructions to the letter. Gave me the runaround for ages before I threw in the towel and did a chargeback. My bank had me back, I had all the proof needed. The gym hardly ever gets a good scrubbing, and them pictures I attached show the muckiness. It'd just sit there for weeks or even months without being cleaned. The owner don't take this business seriously and hardly ever tidies up the gym.

My partner and I were advised by the proprietor that we could hand back our tags before the 15th of September. We were informed there would be no charge for September and our membership would be terminated.

I returned my tag before the deadline, but I was still charged for both September and October. I tried to resolve the issue by sending emails and submitting tickets, but I received no response. Due to my overnight work schedule and busy life, it was challenging for me to call and follow up.

When I finally managed to call, I was informed that I would not be refunded for September. The amount in question is only $35.00, so I'm not going to dispute it. However, I feel compelled to leave this review because I believe I was deceived, taken advantage of, and wasted a considerable amount of time.

I have attached photos showing the assurance from the owner that she would refund my September payment and cancel it. Additionally, I have video evidence demonstrating that the tags were returned together prior to the 15th.

In the future, it is essential to ensure that any statements made by the owner are documented in writing.
