At first I was a bit wary when Crunch Fitness took over IAC, but it's been amazing. There have been so many enhancements to the staff, equipment, and facilities. I particularly enjoy the daycare as I bring my little ones with me almost every day. The ladies are welcoming and my kids really enjoy it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a non-judgmental, family-friendly gym. :)

Do not attend this establishment if you possess any potential health concerns! Initially, I had a pleasant encounter with the staff, who were quite amiable. However, upon becoming pregnant and attempting to continue exercising throughout my pregnancy, I encountered issues. When I could no longer work out, I placed my account on hold. Subsequently, following the birth of my child, I unexpectedly faced medical problems and had not yet resumed my membership. Nonetheless, they proceeded to charge me a $58 yearly renewal fee without any prior warning, even during the account hold period. Despite contacting them multiple times about the matter and even providing a DOCTORS NOTE explaining my delay in returning, they adamantly refused to issue a refund. It is evident that the manager lacks empathy for the challenges that arise post childbirth and was uncooperative with my situation. I had been willing to eventually return and pay the fee once my year mark passed if they had cooperated. I do not recommend their services to anyone.
Furthermore, the facility becomes unbearably warm to the extent that one cannot even stay in the free weights area due to the absence of air conditioning or proper ventilation.
Jessica Brooks (6/3/25, 2:23 AM):
The gym itself is okay. However, I had a dreadful time dealing with the management when it came to billing (they charged me a late fee even though my credit card details hadn't changed) and cancellation (I called on the day my membership expired, yet they still charged me for the renewal and next month a day early and ignored my emails asking for a refund).
Gary Reynolds (6/2/25, 7:09 PM):
I absolutely adore visiting this gym. It's got everything you could need, from weights to a variety of machines, a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and much more! And the cherry on top is the fantastic daycare service they offer for the little ones. All of these amenities come at a really reasonable price too! The folks there are so friendly and it's not as packed as your typical gym, which is a huge plus.
Allison Myers (5/31/25, 8:37 PM):
Absolutely dreadful. I had the misfortune of trying out all 5 treadmills this morning, none of which were operational. To make matters worse, the last one abruptly halted mid-workout to prompt me to inspect the motor system. And don't even get me started on trying to reach out to management – they always seem to be too occupied to respond to calls. It's a complete waste of money. Save yourself the trouble and find another gym. I'm fairly certain this is the only fitness center in the valley that demands a membership, and it's evident why that's the case.
Andrea James (5/31/25, 7:54 AM):
This spot is going downhill, mate! The jets ain't working and the stench of pee is unbearable!! The hot tub reeked like a bloomin' sewer so foul that the sheilas working out in the pool had to stay on the other side 'cause it smelt so dreadful. They even cautioned me not to go near it. This ain't the first time, I tell ya!! And to top it off, three times now the loo paper's run out in the gents. Went to tell the front desk, but they were all glued to their mobiles, saying it ain't their problem. Cleanliness is clearly an issue, and they just can't be bothered to sort it out.
Madison Perry (5/23/25, 3:55 PM):
One of the most dreadful gym experiences I've ever had. Persistent double monthly charges to my account, couldn't get them to properly terminate the membership for nearly two weeks after I requested it, and even when it was supposedly resolved, they kept charging my account. Would definitely advise against this gym. Steer clear.
To add insult to injury, their actual gym equipment is shabby and of low quality at best.
Gabriel Johnson (5/22/25, 5:09 AM):
The tanning beds are really dirty. I always ensure to clean them before and after I use them. I had to wipe off old tanning lotion from the previous users. I've tried to schedule an appointment with a trainer 3 times to go over some things, but for three weeks in a row... he's either not there or busy with someone else. I even had those appointments scheduled. Also, the air conditioning in the weight room still isn't working. I believe this is going on the third summer now.
Shirley Foster (5/21/25, 11:50 PM):
I've been trying for 2 months to cancel my 2 memberships due to health reasons and can't seem to get the manager to respond. A very rude employee told me to email the manager, but they gave me the wrong email. When I called back, another rude person answered the phone and acted like they didn't have time for me. I emailed the manager, but I'm still being charged for the membership. I've read other reviews stating that others have had the same issue. Don't get stuck like I have. Join somewhere else!!!
I received a response from the manager, but today I was charged again for my 2 membership fees.

I 'ave read through a lot o' the reviews, and I must say, I agree that the upgrades to this club 'ave been quite good. However, the urgency of finishing seems to be lackin' a bit...
I 'ave worked in the 'ealth club field for a number of years, and at the Meridian club, there seems to be somethin' lackin'. There's never anyone at the front desk engagin' the members comin' or goin'. If you 'ad a question, who do you ask? This 'as been the case for a few months now.
The number one thin' I know people appreciate is a clean gym... But there are no antibacterial wipes available as they were supposedly "ordered"... There's a Fred Meyer on the next corner, for goodness sake! And with all those fabulous new machines, they don't seem to get cleaned daily...
I agree, I go to workout and don't need a lot of service, but it just feels like there's never any staff there other than Jeff in the evenings... Please, someone be there that cares about members and their guests... that's usually 'ow memberships increase.
Thanks,
Jamie

I’ve been hitting the gym for around 7 months and I must say, it’s been quite a splendid experience. The ambiance is so cozy, it motivates me to show up every day. Plus, my personal trainer Ben has been absolutely fantastic. He’s not only helped me enhance my physical strength but has also guided me through all the top-notch equipment. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!
Joseph Ward (5/18/25, 11:57 AM):
Watch out for their "free enrollment" and other promotions. There are plenty of hidden fees throughout the year that the staff over the phone are all too happy to fib about. They "assisted me" in enrolling via phone, all the while assuring me there wouldn't be any charges besides my monthly payment...but this is how these gyms generate their revenue...by deceiving people about "maintenance fees," "annual fees," and "swimming pool fees," among all the extras they claim were part of the membership from the start...a real disgrace for the fitness industry.
James Mitchell (5/17/25, 10:31 PM):
I do fancy the gym quite a bit, as well as the friendly folks and staff there.
Susan Phillips (5/17/25, 9:13 AM):
Wonderful folks, top-notch gear, outstanding experiences. Gym enthusiasts are courteous and supportive, and they always clean the equipment after use.
Daniel Edwards (5/16/25, 10:28 PM):
I am currently experiencing some issues with canceling my membership at this gym. I have sent three emails as instructed by the front desk staff, and was informed that I would receive a response within 5-7 business days. However, after two weeks, I still hadn't received a reply. When I called back and requested to speak with a manager, I was met with a negative attitude from the young lady at the front desk. She refused to let me speak with the manager, claiming he was in a meeting, and advised me to email him again because he allegedly required a paper trail to process cancellations. To my dismay, I was charged again today for the upcoming month's membership. I have found that contacting management at manager@crunchmeridian.com has been ineffective, and the front desk staff have been unhelpful and impolite. I may consider paying an extra $10 a month to switch to Axiom where the staff is more friendly and responsive.
Jordan Ross (5/16/25, 9:21 AM):
My experience is quite similar to others lately. They make it impossible to cancel for months: you try calling and they say go to your home gym. At the home gym they claim a manager must handle it, but a manager is never around. You eventually manage to cancel, but they continue charging your card and refuse to reimburse the money. The manager is rude and talks down to you. The gym itself is just average - broken equipment and missing dumbbells. There's fierce competition among gyms here, with more pleasant and affordable alternatives. Take your money elsewhere.
Brittany Harris (5/14/25, 9:22 PM):
I was dissatisfied with my membership at the gym as I was required to commit for a whole year. I specifically discussed not having my membership auto-renewed, but the lady assured me it wouldn't happen, yet it did get renewed. They claim it cannot be reversed. Additionally, my grandson sustained an injury at the gym that required 7 staples in his head. Consequently, we have not returned to the gym in the last 3 months.
Kimberly Stewart (5/12/25, 6:45 AM):
Well hello there! I've been here since I moved to Idaho in late 2023. I've visited every single CrossFit gym in the valley. I can honestly say that this location has the best staff. They really motivate me to exercise. They are so fantastic that I even decided to get a trainer, Ashlee. If it weren't for her, I would have given up months ago. She deserves a raise because I can be quite a handful lol. I truly appreciate each and every staff member, whether they're old-timers or newbies! Keep up the great work everyone!
My rating!? 10 out of 10 plus 10 times infinity!
Megan Wright (5/9/25, 8:09 PM):
I've been training here on and off for many, many years. Crunch has really spruced it up since it was the athletic club. It's pretty well-equipped for strength or cross-training. I'm not a big fan of machines, but I do wish there were a bit more variety when it comes to training legs.
Patricia Morales (5/6/25, 9:01 PM):
"I used to have a Crunch membership a couple of years ago, I moved away, and now that I'm back in Meridian, I must say this facility has really improved!
It's quite tidy, the folks aren't bothersome, and the staff have been quite friendly."
