Becoming a part of Artemis has truly been a game changer for me this year. While I've always been quite active, I found myself stuck in a rut and searching for a way to kick it up a notch. The personal training sessions have proven to be the key to unlocking my potential and taking my fitness journey to new heights. My yoga practice has deepened, I can push myself further in spin classes, and running has become more manageable. This year, I've celebrated two personal victories that really solidified the impact of Artemis on my life.

In the middle of September, I made the decision to participate in a 10k race on Thanksgiving with my mom and sister. Despite never having run a race before, I believed I was a decent runner and had a couple of months to prepare, so I wasn't too worried. However, life threw some unexpected challenges my way, and I only managed to fit in three runs before falling ill with a severe chest cold three weeks prior to the race. Nevertheless, having been dedicated to Artemis for 9 months by that point, I knew my training would count for something. Initially, my goal was just to run the whole race and finish in under an hour. Given the circumstances, on race day, I was simply hoping to complete the race. To my surprise, not only did I run the entire distance, but I also finished with an official time of 57 minutes and 51 seconds. These achievements are undoubtedly a result of the support and training I received at Artemis.

A few weeks later, after recovering from a challenging November, I achieved my very first unassisted chin-up - a goal I had set for myself before turning 30. It was incredibly rewarding to tick off this accomplishment from my list. Working with Kendra and Cate this year has not only built my physical strength but also boosted my confidence in my athletic abilities. I am confident that the foundation and healthy habits I've cultivated through Artemis will continue to positively impact my life, no matter where my journey takes me.

I absolutely adore this fitness center! It's such a welcoming and supportive space for women, without all the competitiveness. The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable and always ready to provide guidance and modifications. What really sets this place apart is the variety in workouts - it keeps things exciting and prevents boredom. Plus, the focus on building strength over obsessing about weight or appearance is truly refreshing. There's no mention of "bikini season" here, and you won't find a scale anywhere in sight. It's a much healthier mindset to have, especially for us women.

Artemis is absolutely fantastic! The workouts are top-notch, constantly varied, and never fail to push me to my limits. The personal trainers are exceptional, and scheduling sessions is a breeze. Exercising in a small group setting is truly motivating, and I find myself more successful than I ever would be working out on my own, even with all the equipment at home. The camaraderie within the group always leaves me feeling empowered and accomplished. It's been a few years now, and I'm thrilled with the strength and confidence I've gained through these sessions.

This gym is right up my alley. It's set up for small semi-private training sessions, and the trainers really pay attention to you, pushing you while also making sure you're doing things properly and safely. On top of your semi-private sessions, there are a couple of open classes on the schedule that you can join (I would definitely suggest taking advantage of these).
