I've visited other Life Time locations that resemble luxurious spa resorts - several floors, abundant space, numerous basketball courts, additional pools, outdoor amenities, and the like. However, at this particular site, it seemed more akin to a marginally upgraded LA Fitness but with a significantly higher price tag.

I have been a member of this gym for nearly ten years now. While I have always been satisfied with the facilities and services they offer, I must say that the customer service has significantly declined in recent years. The front desk staff often have a negative attitude, the showers are frequently closed early, and the saunas are constantly out of order. It seems like the management is not interested in addressing these issues or taking customer feedback seriously.
Despite the high cost of membership, there are many more affordable gyms in the area that offer better customer service. It is disappointing to see that Lifetime Fitness does not seem to value its customers and is comfortable losing them. It feels like they believe they are doing us a favor by allowing us to be members. It's a shame, but I will be canceling my membership soon.

Yesterday, my partner and I had a fantastic tour with Erwin at the gym. The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, and we were impressed by how clean and organized everything was. We particularly enjoyed the swimming pool, especially since it has a beach entry that allows our 9-month-old baby to play safely. I was also thrilled to discover the yoga room and was pleased to learn that I could use it when there were no classes scheduled.
However, our positive experience took a turn this morning when I entered the yoga room. A yoga instructor named Cat Breyfogle was inside, and her demeanor immediately put me on edge. She curtly instructed me to remove my shoes, and when I complied, she rudely informed me that I was not allowed to use the yoga room. Feeling confused and disrespected, I left and sought clarification from other staff members, who confirmed that I was indeed allowed to use the room. It was clear that Cat had lied about its availability and had treated me poorly.
I later learned from staff members that I was not the only person to have experienced such behavior from Cat. It's a shame because we otherwise love this gym and appreciate the friendliness of the other employees and members. While I am considering canceling my membership due to this incident, I hope that Cat's manager will address her behavior and provide her with the necessary training to treat people with respect, as it seems she lacks this essential skill.

I popped in for a day pass to give Lifetime a go. The facilities were top-notch and in impeccable condition; truly a stunning gym. They have both wet and dry saunas, lockers with locks, showers, towels, a basketball court, an abundance of cardio equipment, and ample weights. I doubt you'll ever have to wait for a cardio machine, although there might be a bit of a wait for weights during peak times.
Considering the price, I believe you get what you pay for... There are many other gyms in the vicinity that are a third of the cost, so I intend to explore a few more before making my decision.
I have a two-year-old, and if he were a bit older, say 3 or above, I would certainly sign up here due to the children's center, weekly parents' night out, swim lessons, and so on. If I do end up joining another gym, you may well see me back here in around a year!
P.S. Amber at the front desk was delightful, professional, knowledgeable, and just fantastic.

Blimey, this company is an absolute shambles! I didn't even make it past the reviews and online pricing before deciding it was a firm no. It appears this place is rife with issues, and the pricing is simply outrageous. And what's with the blatant age discrimination? Offering lower rates for those under 26 is just plain unethical. Whoever came up with that policy must have been off their rocker. As someone well-versed in the ways of the business world, mark my words - this establishment is headed for a swift closure. Thank goodness for my due diligence and research. I refuse to align myself with a business that engages in such discriminatory practices. The pricing disparity, especially for younger individuals, reeks of desperation to attract a certain demographic.
Even if I were eligible for the lower rate, the pricing structure, along with the litany of other issues highlighted in the reviews, would be enough to deter me from signing up. And let me tell you, I don't mince my words or coddle delicate sensibilities. If the reports of unprofessionalism among the staff are true, and given the consistent negative feedback, I have every reason to believe they are, then this place is on a collision course with either a lawsuit or a confrontation. I've been a member of this gym for 7 years. Initially, my membership cost $69 for myself and $89 when including my daughter, taxes included. When my daughter turned 12, it went back to $69 for both of us. A few months back, I requested to pause my membership due to personal reasons and mentioned I would come back. However, upon returning to reactivate my membership, I was informed that my account had been terminated, and I would have to pay the new rates - $99 for me and a whopping $200 once my daughter hit 12. It seems like a deliberate move to make me lose my $69 fixed rate. Dealing with the corporate office was unpleasant, as they were unhelpful and impolite. The manager at Addison Concierge didn't offer much assistance either.

This establishment is quite outdated compared to other Lifetime fitness clubs, yet they still charge a whopping $129!!! It's likely one of the oldest Lifetime clubs in Texas, if not the very first. The single heavy bag they have is laughable; even a 10-year-old could topple it with a good punch. The shower facilities are appalling, lacking a private changing area (which could easily be rectified during a club renovation that could also include an outdoor cage with a heavy bag). There's no privacy, and they've stopped allowing access to the Family locker room unless you have children, citing child protection measures. However, it's somehow acceptable for individuals to freely enter the opposite-gender locker room (following their transgender policy) without consequence. On the other hand, using the family locker room for privacy and accessibility, especially for wheelchair users needing a genuine ADA-compliant shower, is met with resistance. The so-called "ADA" shower in the regular locker room is just as cramped as a standard shower, offering no space at all. Management seems unresponsive, corporate appears indifferent, and the exorbitant $125 fee for this club is unjustifiable. Meanwhile, Fitness Connection across the street charges only 10 or 20 bucks, and LA Fitness costs 45 dollars, both of which provide superior facilities compared to the Carrollton location. For a more worthwhile experience, consider visiting Lifetime Flower Mound or Plano (despite the steep $215 price tag, at least these locations seem to offer value for money). However, this particular Lifetime club is an utter travesty...and that’s putting it mildly.

The crew that manages this LifeTime location is absolutely top-notch. They consistently greet you with a smile, bid you a good workout, and contribute to a highly positive and lively atmosphere. The variety of members at LifeTime, each at different stages in their fitness journey, is truly fantastic. I appreciate the diversity here. The sense of community is strong, with lots of positive encouragement, camaraderie, and even some friendly competition. This gym is my absolute favorite in the area. If I had one suggestion, it would be to ensure the water fountains are kept clean. They always appear quite dirty and seem like they've never been cleaned (I had to deduct a star for this). On a positive note, the new maintenance team (I believe there was a change in maintenance staff around Sept/Oct 2021) is doing an exceptional job. They are very prompt in fixing machines, and when one is out of order, they quickly place a sign with the estimated repair date (I really appreciate this).

I must say, my experience at this gym was a tad underwhelming. On the positive side, there is a decent variety of equipment available, although it can be a bit hit or miss in terms of functionality and weight availability. The gym doesn't tend to get too packed, which is always a plus. I also appreciated the spacious area designated for stretching and warming up.
However, there are some notable drawbacks to mention. It seems like the only active staff members are stationed at the front desk, which can lead to a lack of assistance throughout the gym. There's a shortage of squat racks, and the free weight bench press stations are lacking bars, weights, and collars. Moreover, I could only spot two resistance bands in the entirety of the open gym space.
The gym is in need of a thorough cleaning, as well as some new weights and bars. It would also benefit from staff members who engage more with the members upon arrival, rather than giving off a vibe reminiscent of airport security.
Additionally, the locker room has a distinct odor near the water fountain, and the towels provided are thin and smell strongly of chemicals.

This gym is posher, spick and span, and pricier ($80/month) compared to other gyms in the area. It's not as large as other Life Time locations and lacks some amenities like an outdoor pool, tennis courts, and spacious locker rooms. On the bright side, it offers great child care services and activities for kids. The place can get pretty busy, but the yoga classes are top-notch with experienced instructors. The group exercise studio is on the small side and tends to fill up quickly. (It's worth noting that Fitness Connection just across the street boasts a huge studio, more group classes at convenient times, and only costs $10/month.) Unless you have young children, the steep price tag of this Life Time location may not be justified. In this area, there are plenty of other gyms and fitness studios to choose from, so Life Time isn't necessarily the go-to option. Don't forget that their cafe and salon are open to the public, so feel free to drop by and check out the facilities.

This Gym ain't too shabby at all, mate. I've visited Lifetime Fitness gyms all across the country, from the one in Woodbury, MN to Founders Way in Fort Worth and Trinity Mills in Dallas. I reckon having a 24-hour gym like before the pandemic might not be doable with today's labor costs and upkeep expenses. However, opening at 4 am would be a massive advantage, innit? Especially for us folks in the corporate world who just want to get an early start and still have time to commute back home. Reasonable rates, a wide variety of classes to choose from, impeccable cleanliness, ample supply of towels, and no one interferes with your workout. In all my interactions with her, I found her to be unprofessional and needlessly confrontational. Her consistently rude behavior towards both myself and her colleagues left me quite taken aback. Initially, I gave her the benefit of the doubt, thinking perhaps she was just having a rough day or week, but it quickly became apparent that this was simply her demeanor. For parents seeking childcare options while they work out, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
I must express my disappointment in Victoria, as her actions have truly tainted my view of this gym and its services for both myself and my family.
