Splendid gym!! The manager Ryan is absolutely phenomenal! He is constantly professional and attentive. The staff consistently greets you with a smile and displays great respect. The gym is perpetually spotless and I adore the recent renovations they have implemented! If you're in search of a gym, I wholeheartedly recommend this one!!

Terrible customer service from the operations manager Sarah and an employee named Isaac. I initially reached out to have my account paused. I believe the person I spoke with was the operations manager Sarah. There are two people on my account. I was never asked which membership I wanted to cancel, and I assumed the entire account was being canceled. However, I was charged $30 for one of the membership accounts. When I called to inform them, I spoke with Sarah, who was completely unhelpful and provided awful customer service. It's quite surprising that she is the operations manager. When I visited the gym in person, she was extremely condescending, laughing at me as if I were clueless. Then Isaac, an employee, also lacked any customer service skills. He argued with me about the fact that employees are not fully aware of the company's policies, which turned out to be true because I later found out that employees are not supposed to pause accounts over the phone. And as I mentioned, I am pretty sure I spoke with Sarah when I called to cancel because her demeanor was quite telling. Interestingly, the so-called operations manager Sarah was right there while her employee was arguing with a customer, and my partner had to intervene to stop him. I requested to speak with a general manager, and Sarah tried to lie, saying that he oversees multiple locations and is unavailable, though he was right there. Sarah only went to get him after he approached to inquire if everything was alright. Therefore, kudos to Corey, the general manager, who actually took the time to listen to our concerns and took responsibility for the facility's failure to adhere to policy. I also informed the corporate office about this situation and canceled my membership.

The gym is absolutely dreadful. Mold and leaky ceilings, ancient rusty equipment, and missing weights galore. It's a rare sight to find a set of matching weights between 15-35 pounds, which is typically sought after by female gym-goers. The staff consists of youngsters who don't bother with uniforms, neglect cleaning duties entirely, and lack the necessary training and knowledge. Despite being on hiatus, you're still expected to pay in full, and when attempting to cancel, you're informed that only a manager can process it during specific days and hours. The cost simply does not justify the experience.

I was a newcomer testing out this establishment, and Ari completely spoiled the experience. She was rude, unprofessional, and took extra steps to make me feel unwelcome. Her conduct was unacceptable and left a negative first impression. Management must improve.

They 'ave a plenitude of machines, so ye won't 'ave t' wait 'ardly ever! They 'ave top-notch instructors who provide challengin', enjoyable workouts fer the classes. There are loads o' tellies t' watch while runnin' or on th' elliptical. The basketball court an' pool offer a fantastic way t' get yer exercise in! I've been a member since 2010 an' it's a right positive experience t' work out 'ere!
Carolyn Gomez (5/17/25, 10:00 AM):
This gym is an absolute sham, I tell ya. The equipment is ancient and there's always somethin' "down for repair" with no end in sight. The whole place reeks and feels downright unsanitary. The managers are as rude as they come, talkin' down to ya like you're beneath 'em. And don't even get me started on those sales reps, a bunch of shady characters if you ask me. LA Fitness as a whole ain't worth the trouble, but this particular location is a complete nightmare, mark my words.
Roger Young (5/15/25, 5:56 PM):
They be playing ads with the tunes.

At times, the entrance do have quite a potent sewage aroma.
Catherine Baker (5/15/25, 2:34 AM):
My mates and I, a group of seven members from the gym, have decided to switch over to Crunch due to the abysmal customer service we've received. The washrooms are positively vile and reek like a rubbish bin. They've halved the number of machines available, leaving little room for a decent workout post-remodeling. The greenspace has practically overtaken the entire gym. The employees seem disinterested in their work, often just idling on their phones during shifts.
Gregory Morales (5/14/25, 11:38 PM):
This is the spot where I met all my buddies when I returned, can get rather packed in the evenings, but that's typical of most gyms. Just wish they had a larger free weight area with some Olympic weights. Besides that, it's a decent gym.
Emma Turner (5/13/25, 12:49 AM):
LA Fitness is absolutely fabulous! They've been incessantly cleaning since they reopened. The staff is so friendly and the signs for masks and social distancing are prominently displayed. This location also ensures that its spray bottles and towel holders are fully stocked 👍🏿...
Larry Scott (5/9/25, 3:37 PM):
As a longstanding member of LA Fitness at the Wade Green location, I have always valued the welcoming staff and friendly atmosphere. Regrettably, my recent encounters have been less than favorable due to the conduct of the new Sales General Manager, Ari Northington.

Her lack of professionalism and confrontational approach have significantly impacted the gym's ambiance. I have observed her displaying rudeness towards both staff and members, disregarding concerns, and even scolding customers during telephone conversations. Such behavior is unacceptable, particularly from someone in a leadership role.

Ari's presence has visibly altered the once inviting and hospitable atmosphere of the club. Her inclination to micromanage and enforce needless regulations has fostered a strained and uneasy environment for members and employees alike. It is disheartening to witness such a dramatic shift from what was previously a positive community setting.

I trust that management will heed these concerns earnestly and strive to reinstate the friendly and supportive ambiance for which LA Fitness is renowned. Members deserve to feel esteemed and appreciated, and I am confident that measures will be taken to address this matter.
Diane Evans (5/7/25, 4:14 PM):
Sarah the Operations Manager is absolutely brilliant! She addressed all of my inquiries and exemplifies top-notch customer service.

The Kids Klub at this establishment is absolutely splendid as well. Sarah Grace is fantastic with the children. I would highly recommend it!
Roy King (5/7/25, 4:33 AM):
Absolutely loving the fresh layout at the Wade Green spot! It's all tidy, neat, and no more clutter about! I adore doing my stretches and core workouts on the new turf. Ryan is always so friendly and inviting! A real joy to work out at this gym. I even go the extra mile just to train here! 😁
Bruce Richardson (5/5/25, 3:43 PM):
A variety of machines at your disposal, a basketball court, weights, a swimming pool, and more. It can be a tad daunting to go solo, but it's an absolute blast to bring along your mates! They provide a range of classes and opportunities for racquetball. Additionally, there's a sauna on site and the restrooms are well-maintained. The lockers are spacious and the showers are pristine. The staff's demeanor may vary, but the majority are quite amiable :)
Russell Morgan (5/5/25, 12:41 PM):
I went for a tour of the gym and it was absolutely brilliant. The manager, Ryan, was incredibly helpful and welcoming as he guided us through the facilities. I particularly appreciated the fact that they offer child care, a pool, a sauna, and various rooms for classes. The gym was impeccably clean and there were plenty of options for me to choose from during my workout. I would highly recommend it.
Leonard Thomas (5/2/25, 5:27 AM):
The folks over there are absolutely top-notch. You can spot some hulking lads all around, but don't let that faze ya. They're all friendly souls, and witnessing their dedication only spurs you on further. Without a doubt, the finest gym I've ever set foot in. Disciplined individuals at every turn. If given the chance, I'd make it my training ground for life.
Larry Cook (5/1/25, 2:05 AM):
Fantastic staff, brilliant workout atmosphere, a variety of classes on offer. Plus, there's a pool, sauna, and hot tub available too!
Jose Gutierrez (4/30/25, 1:11 PM):
As a member of L.A Fitness, I have always enjoyed visiting the gym to exercise. The smoothies are fantastic, the atmosphere is welcoming and supportive, and I truly see L.A Fitness as a second home, a place to clear my mind. However, it is truly disappointing that my second home has been tainted by the arrival of new management who seem to lack social skills and critical thinking abilities.

The new manager, or whoever she may be, was incredibly rude to me and my friends during our last visit. Her behavior has made us hesitant to return to L.A Fitness. She is rude, passive-aggressive, and unprofessional. She was very unpleasant to us during check-in, and her presence really detracts from the overall positive experience at L.A Fitness.
Aaron Brown (4/29/25, 6:24 AM):
Oh my goodness, this gym is just deteriorating by the minute! I simply cannot express enough negative things about the manager who now occupies the front desk. She is an African American lady with the most dreadful customer service skills I have ever encountered. She leaves people standing there, has a terrible attitude towards the members, and more.

Some of my friends have shared similar experiences with her, and even employees here have mentioned it, but I didn't believe it until I witnessed it firsthand. LA Fitness, you really need to step up your game and hire someone who is truly qualified to represent your business. She is absolutely the worst.
Maria Carter (4/27/25, 1:49 AM):
They never seem to update their class schedule on Google. The men's locker room is always out of paper towels and toilet paper, and the toilets and urinals are quite unpleasant. As a former employee of this establishment, I can attest that this gym falls far below the expected standards.
