I absolutely adore this gym! It's such a professional yet laid-back atmosphere. I enjoy getting my workout in bright and early, and it's always blissfully uncrowded. The open balcony is a personal favorite of mine, perfect for some exercise and soaking up a bit of sunshine. The equipment is top-notch and really modern.
Well, howdy everyone! My name's Ernest, a 45-year-old business fella and dad of two kiddos. I'm always running low on time and rarely have a moment for reviews, but today I've made the choice to chat about the top-notch gym you can find up in the North Bethesda and Rockville area in Maryland. It's none other than Sport & Health over at Pike and Rose. Let me tell ya, the facilities are top-of-the-line with the latest gear and, most importantly, a warm and super professional crew. From Adam, their boss man, to personal trainer Mike and front desk fella Sam... they're all top-notch, five-star folks. If you're on the hunt for a place to get in shape and break a sweat, this gym is the bee's knees. Plus, they offer yoga, pilates, and a bunch more classes. I highly recommend giving them a whirl!
Top-notch gym in Montgomery County, spotlessly clean and well-organized. The changing rooms are incredibly spacious, with fresh towels available. The sauna room is excellent for a post-workout sweat session. The staff, particularly the general manager, Mr. Richard (Rick), are extremely polite and helpful. A big thank you to them for providing such a great experience.
North Bethesda Sport and Health has been me favorite gym for years now. The staff, trainers, and me fellow gym mates are always friendly and welcoming, mate. They 'ave all the gear ye need to 'ave a top-notch workout! Their innovative approach to fitness really stands out as they stay up-to-date with the latest trends in strength training, cardio, agility, athletic training, group fitness, and much more.
It was tough bein' away from me "second home" durin' the COVID shelter-in-place orders these past months. But I was over the moon to 'ear they were reopenin' when the state of MD gave the all clear. Sport and Health stepped up to the challenge by followin' strict guidelines, keepin' things clean, practicin' social distancing, and mandatin' mask use. As an intensive care nurse meself, I truly appreciate the efforts they're makin' to reduce the risk of virus spread, and in me opinion, this gym's doin' a stellar job. I wholeheartedly recommend this gym if ye be lookin' for a CLEAN, SAFE, and FUN workout experience.
As an SEO specialist, in a blog talking about the gym, the following could be a rephrased version of the comment with an English accent in the English language:
As a proud parent of young ones, the child care facilities here are simply marvelous. The staff members are truly professional, and despite having frequented the Rockville and Olney OneLife locations with pools and indoor play areas several times, my two little ones always insist on coming to Pike and Rose because they feel cherished here. What's more, the manager, affectionately known as "Mr. Rich," has been incredibly warm and hospitable towards me, my spouse, and our children. His kindness shines through, evident even in the drawer he keeps at his desk, filled with the beautiful artwork our little ones create for him. The spin classes are top-notch - the instructors are not only kind but also incredibly motivating!
I absolutely adore this gym. It is without a doubt my top choice in the region. I've not encountered a gym that remains as spotless as this one. The variety of equipment is sufficient, and even at busy times, I hardly ever have to queue for machines. All in all, it's a marvelous gym, and the price is unbeatable.
Absolutely adore this gym. I've been a member since February, and have tried out LA Fitness, WSC, and Equinox in the past. Without a doubt, this one takes the cake for me. The kids club is top-notch, and the ladies who run it, especially Claudia, are fantastic - my daughter adores them. Skyler, the manager, is incredibly accommodating! I've also started some personal training sessions and have had a blast with Jim and Carolyn. The gym is wonderfully roomy and spotless, with top-notch equipment. Their group classes are a blast too!
Personal training at this gym has truly been a game-changer for me. At 56 years young, I embarked on this journey with Mauna just 2 months back, focusing on enhancing my flexibility, shedding unwanted pounds, and finding relief from nagging pains. Mauna's expertise, patience, professionalism, kind demeanor, and unwavering dedication have completely transformed not just my physique but also my mindset towards workouts. It's remarkable how much progress I've made in such a short time span. The gym itself is top-notch. Having been a member of Equinox for several years prior to relocating to North Bethesda and joining this establishment, I can confidently affirm that this gym surpasses all expectations in terms of cleanliness, equipment quality, and staff excellence.
This gym is top-notch. It's not a fancy spa. Anyone giving it 1⭐ is either too spoiled or just searching for any reason to skip their workout. These folks always blame others instead of taking responsibility for themselves.
After reading the feedback from Sport and Health, I feel compelled to update my review of this gym. Initially, I had given it a two-star rating based on my concerns about their membership recruitment tactics and the challenges with their cancellation policy. During my trial visit, the tour seemed to smoothly transition into a sales pitch, leaving me feeling a bit pressured to commit. I made it clear to the staff that I might be relocating in a few months and was assured that canceling would not be an issue as long as I informed them in advance.
However, when the time came for me to cancel due to my move, I was informed that I could potentially face a three-month charge for terminating my membership early. This was news to me, as it had not been disclosed during the signup process. Despite explaining this discrepancy to the representative, I was met with a standard corporate response. Ultimately, they did waive the three-month fee, but still charged me for an additional month that I likely won't use.
I must acknowledge the gym's facilities, which are indeed impressive. Nonetheless, I find it disappointing that accessing other Sport and Health locations in the DMV area requires an extra fee on top of the already substantial membership cost.
Pike and Rose may not be a sprawling establishment, but Rich truly excels in ensuring its smooth operation, earning the respect and admiration of all. Unlike other gyms, Rich is diligent in enforcing rules, resulting in improved behavior such as returning equipment, keeping machines clean, respecting time limits, and accommodating others. His proactive approach creates a harmonious atmosphere, with patrons appreciating his attentive and humble demeanor. His ability to manage a crowded weight room with ease is commendable, a testament to how effectively he instills discipline without it being overtly noticeable. I wholeheartedly recommend Rich and his team for their exceptional management skills.
I must say, this gym spot is quite splendid. The folks are cheerful, the place is spic and span, and the gear is top-notch and fairly new. I've been a member for close to 8 years now, but this spot steals the show with its cardio and weight room bathed in natural light. It's ever so calming to catch a glimpse outside during rest intervals between sets. Moreover, there's a charming green turf area outside for those who fancy a bit of sun. Cheers to this fine facility!
Oh, my goodness, this gym is absolutely fantastic. I came all the way from Raleigh, NC, to visit my dad for a few days, but I was keen on getting in some good workouts while in Bethesda. Back home, I attend Les Mills classes - Body Pump and Body Combat - at O2 Fitness clubs. I was thrilled to find both classes available here, and the club itself is ultra-modern, spotlessly clean, and the staff are exceptionally friendly, professional, and welcoming. Everyone was just wonderful, and today's Pump class was nearly identical to my usual routine at O2 Fitness in Raleigh. I felt right at ease, had a challenging workout, enjoyed a refreshing shower, and truly loved the atmosphere of the club. If I ever find myself relocating to Bethesda, I would join without hesitation. I plan to come back for a Body Combat class tomorrow, and there's another Body Pump session scheduled the day after before I head back home with my family. While I didn't have the chance to explore the rest of the fitness equipment, a quick glance assured me that everything was impeccably clean and top-of-the-line. This gym embodies everything one could hope for in a fitness center, and then some.
The gym layout is top-notch. However, the process of canceling a gym membership is tucked away in a click wrap agreement within part 7 section 3. This crucial section outlining your termination rights is not easily accessible. I was unaware that I needed to prepay for 3 months to cancel, and without immediate gym access. It feels misleading. Now you're in the know!
Rich was incredibly courteous, professional, and steered me towards a fully operational gym.
All the machines were in top working condition. Everyone made sure to wipe them down after using them.
The locker room was spotless. The showers were spacious, almost like walk-in closets.
There was no inappropriate behavior. The gym-goers ranged from young men aged 15 to 24, all the way to the older crowd.
Respect was evident everywhere, with people making space for you on the bench or when using the showers.
The hot water was plentiful, with full curtains for privacy and stocked with soap and conditioner.
"If you're looking to join a gym, One Life is the perfect choice," Dennis encouraged.
I joined to transform my physique, shed some pounds, and establish a regular routine.
I'm there every day - at 6AM, evenings, and even on weekends.
You really need to get that heart rate up. *And remember to eat balanced portions.
This newfound sense of hunger doesn't lead me to overindulge.
Come and join us... Dennis.
I'm a member of OneLife and was refused entry at this spot. I usually frequent the Rockville spot and fancied checking out the Bethesda spot to see if it suits me better. The lady at the front desk informed me that I needed to cough up a guest fee to get in. I already shell out for my OneLife membership, so I won't be shelling out again just to have a look around, cheers.
