However, upon our arrival, we found the instructor to be absent, claiming a mishap with the phone number provided. Suffice it to say, we were quite underwhelmed by the entire ordeal and have no intentions of revisiting this establishment.

I say old chap, I must say I had high hopes for a jolly good time at the Premier Martial Arts in Addison, but alas, I found meself dreadfully let down. The instructor Jonathan seemed to think I had canceled our appointment, despite my confirming attendance. After patiently waiting for him to finish up with another client, he didn't even bother to introduce himself nor give us a proper rundown of what Premier Martial Arts is all about. Instead, he beckoned my 5-year-old son over to his desk to figure out his uniform size without so much as a by your leave. Without informing me or the missus, he proceeded to try and dress the lad in the uniform, despite my multiple offers to assist. He insisted he had it all under control, but I felt mighty uncomfortable with the way he was getting too close to my son while attempting to dress him. This man certainly did not earn my trust, I tell you. When I pointed out that I am the parent and should be allowed to dress my own child, his response was rather cheeky: "I don't like being spoken to in that manner, how about we reschedule?" I was absolutely flabbergasted... No professionalism, no manners, no respect. I am thoroughly disappointed and appalled by the shoddy treatment we received. And to top it off, not once did he offer an apology after my complaint. As a parent, my child's safety is paramount, and if I get even the slightest inkling that someone is overstepping boundaries, especially in terms of personal space, it sets off immediate alarm bells. I would strongly advise against patronizing or recommending this particular establishment.

What an awesome dojo with incredibly welcoming staff. They provide introductory one-on-one lessons to ensure your child truly grasps the techniques before joining the regular group classes. My 5-year-old was over the moon and is counting down the days until our next visit!

Premier has been absolutely brilliant. One of me children has been attending for a year, and the other two have just started. They're always excited to come every week, which isn't always the case with other activities! The coaches are friendly, while also providing firm and effective guidance for the children. The dojo is spotless and well-lit. Plus, they've been accommodating when I've needed to reschedule classes due to changes in our timetable. Overall, I'm completely thrilled with it!

My pair of seven-year-old twin granddaughters, who are currently spending the summer in Dallas, are thoroughly enjoying themselves! I wish I had signed them up earlier. Upon their return to Dallas next summer, it is certain that I will enroll them in this program. The curriculum instills key values such as listening, respect, and self-defense.
