What a jolly good atmosphere and bloomin' helpful gym chaps! They've got a splendid range of gym kit, from free weights to machines, yoga balls, cardio machines, and so on. Situated smack bang in downtown in the Zions Bank Building, making it ever so convenient for a workout before, during lunch, or after work! Cheers!

This establishment used to be splendid, but has certainly taken a turn for the worse at quite a pace. I've been a member here for approximately a year now. The initial tour that was provided to me highlighted their fantastic cycle room and top-of-the-line cycles (now no longer available), the numerous workout areas (currently reduced in size), and the luxurious locker rooms with integrated steam rooms (often unclean and seldom functioning properly).

A few months back, they began promoting exciting upgrades on the way for the gym. What they neglected to mention was that these enhancements would come with a hike in monthly fees. They transformed a space that was once an additional gym, which all members could enjoy, into what they now call the Pinnacle Training Studio, accessible for an extra 25 dollars per month. Essentially, they halved the previous space without halving our membership fee, but instead increased it. This has resulted in overcrowding in the main gym area and made some equipment practically unusable due to space constraints. Certain equipment that used to be accessible to all members is now behind the locked door requiring that extra 25 dollars.

Our access to the gym 24 hours a day is crucial as we prefer to work out early in the mornings. On two occasions in the past two months, we arrived at the gym only to find locked doors.

I have attempted to maintain a positive outlook and allow them to adapt to the new changes, but it seems they simply do not value their loyal customers. Recent discussions in the locker room have been predominantly negative, with many feeling cheated by the company. While I typically strive to support local businesses, I would suggest exploring other gyms to invest your hard-earned money in. There are plenty of alternatives, even if the management here believes they are the premier gym downtown. Take a look at Yelp for genuine reviews from members.

The class I took was absolutely fabulous! Ed was so friendly, helpful, and really pushed me to my limits! I also loved how spotless the equipment and the gym overall were!
Linda Graham (5/21/25, 12:10 AM):
I attended a boot camp there on Saturday morning with Ed! It was a jolly good time and a smashing workout!
Ella Baker (5/20/25, 1:24 PM):
**Additionally, contrary to what Google might suggest, this gym does indeed operate 24/7 exclusively for members. It took me a bit of time to uncover that gem.**

Let me start by mentioning my slight bias as I hold a corporate membership through my workplace, allowing me to enjoy the facilities for a mere $16 per month.

That being said, I genuinely enjoy this gym. Although on the smaller side, it boasts two rooms and ample machines, ensuring they are never too crowded (at least during my early morning weekday visits). I especially appreciate the spacious mat area in the second room where individuals can engage in stretching or freeform exercises. While I haven't participated in any classes yet, they are included in the membership.

There are plenty of lockers available. The locker rooms may be a bit snug, but I am grateful for the abundance of counters with mirrors, ideal for us ladies who prefer to apply makeup before heading to work. The showers are splendid, and the cleanliness is consistently maintained.

The staff members are incredibly amiable and always wear a smile. Overall, my experience has been exceedingly satisfactory.
Douglas Gomez (5/17/25, 1:38 PM):
Finding a spot to park can be a bit of a challenge during the day, but the gym itself is spotless and runs like a well-oiled machine. The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to lend a hand.
Aaron Smith (5/16/25, 7:02 AM):
Undoubtedly the finest gym I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The personnel, equipment, and amenities are top-notch. The classes are exceptional and prepare you for any goal you are striving to achieve!
Carol Jackson (5/14/25, 6:14 AM):
A clean and modern gym with a wide range of equipment including free weights, machines, TRX, kettlebells, a CrossFit equipment room, and a variety of cardio machines including Peloton. Day passes available for $15 with towel service included.
Sharon Moore (5/14/25, 3:28 AM):
This gym is absolutely brilliant!

The whole staff is incredibly kind and well-informed! The workout classes are fantastic, and the facility itself is first-rate! I've been to loads of gyms, and The Gym is definitely one of, if not the best in the valley!

I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a distinctive, private, and outstanding gym experience!
Austin Hall (5/13/25, 5:20 AM):
Top-notch gym! The equipment is state-of-the-art and the trainers really know their stuff. A few of them are particularly outstanding, perhaps the best in the area. Their expertise in nutrition, form, and gear is on point. Moving here was definitely a good call. Definitely seek out Johnny for some top-tier training. Cheers!
Mary Russell (5/11/25, 11:26 PM):

Douglas Ortiz (5/10/25, 12:00 PM):

Leonard Edwards (5/10/25, 4:23 AM):
Huge admirer here! I used to be a member for quite a while before relocating to another state, but the experience was absolutely fantastic. I've had some truly dreadful gym experiences in the past, so it's reassuring to know that there are still folks out there who do things the proper way.
Shirley Roberts (5/9/25, 10:17 PM):
Bloody brilliant gym in the heart of the city. I was a visitor from out of town but it was smashing. Highly recommend!
Alice Wilson (5/8/25, 7:54 AM):
"Alright, Alright, Alright" Ed Powers is one of the finest trainers in Boise.
Harper Collins (5/8/25, 1:44 AM):
The finest gym in Boise, I absolutely adore how it's perpetually pristine.
Kelly Reyes (5/7/25, 6:24 PM):
I'm no longer a member at this gym, and yet they keep charging me every month for a locker rental that I never agreed to. There is no option to remove credit card details from their membership platform, so the only way to stop them from charging your card is to freeze or cancel it and get a new one, which is absolutely ridiculous.
Leonard Ortiz (5/5/25, 4:39 AM):
Brilliant gym! The classes are jolly good and cater to all. The staff is super friendly and the place is always tidy.
