The gym itself is spotless and provides a pleasant workout environment, however, things take a turn when it comes to cancelling your membership. Despite my repeated efforts over several months, I continued to be charged. The customer service leaves much to be desired - after waiting nearly 20 minutes on hold, I was disconnected by a gentleman who provided no assistance and promptly ended the call. Trying to reach out via text also proved fruitless, with a delayed response received 3 hours later when I was no longer available to reply within 3 minutes. Another phone call, another wait of 10 minutes, led me to a woman who claimed there was no previous record of my cancellation attempts in their system. This ordeal has been a drain on both my time and finances. If considering joining VASA, heed this cautionary tale.

One of the most enjoyable experiences I've ever had. I go five days a week and the facilities are always in excellent condition. The people and staff are fantastic. If you're not already going to a gym, this is the place to start. You won't be let down!
Daniel Carter (5/29/25, 5:58 PM):
I absolutely adore Vasa! I've been frequenting that place for more than 6 years now and I simply love their group fitness classes. Body Pump with Beth and Studio Red with Pippa and Solo are my top picks! All the instructors are fantastic, welcoming, and incredibly motivating!!!

My experience with VASA has been fantastic, with friendly staff and excellent cleanliness and maintenance. I especially appreciate my trainer Yaya, who takes the time to sit down with you to discuss your meal plans and adjust your workout as needed.

I 'ave been a member of this VASA since April of 2018. Recently there 'as been a decline in the club. Service dogs without any proper ID, that are bein' brought in by different owners. Shirtless teen boys posin' in the mirrors and hoggin' equipment durin' peak times. This VASA is becomin' a place where my concern for my safety is actually becomin' an issue. The roof leaks above the functional fitness area and the cardio equipment anytime there is rain or snow and the hydro beds may or may not work on any particular day. All gyms 'ave peak hours but comin' to this VASA sometimes feels like fight club in the afternoon/evenin' hours. The foam rollers are in 'orrible shape and bein' cut in pieces and seem to be gettin' fewer and fewer by the week. Down to one TRX strap that looks as dirty as the locker rooms. The exercise mats are torn and impossible to find. The airbikes are damaged, fewer in number and often inoperable. The fit balls are usually underinflated. When I first joined one of the perks was the ability to use Myzone, now the televisions we use to be able to monitor ourselves on are either never on or 'ave been unoperational for years (yes years). Occasionally there are people practicin' Jiu Jitsu in the very busy functional area. We were once able to go into the spin room and quietly work on cardio but now there is a lock on the door so we can't get in, I was told when I joined that the spin room was open to members to use freely as long as there wasn't a spin class goin' on. The floor in the functional fit area is now so saturated that the moisture is soakin' into the mats, can’t imagine what it looks like underneath the turf. My thumb is gettin' tired. Now, after 6 years I want to see what else is out there.

Absolutely spotless, fantastic atmosphere, the folks at the front desk are incredibly helpful and friendly (especially Norma)
Allison Reyes (5/27/25, 8:30 PM):
I've been here for a good few months and mostly positive. The ceiling/roof water leak damage is definitely a low priority repair, as the same damage spots have been there in the 6 months or so that I've been frequenting. There are still plenty of options to work around the blocked off equipment, but someone is definitely dragging their feet on getting it taken care of. I do love the value of the membership, as there are many options and amenities that I enjoy using, and the staff has been friendly in all my interactions.
A big negative within the last week or so...all of the accessory workout items, like yoga blocks, bands, ropes etc have been removed "per corporate decision". It's pretty ridiculous to not have such simple items to enhance one's workout experience. Not sure who decided this was the best course of action but it seems like a great way to scare away customers. Bring back the small accessories!
Vincent Cook (5/27/25, 3:44 PM):
I popped into a Flow class today, and Galina was the instructor. I adored it! Her cues were spot-on and super detailed. I would be thrilled if she could lead classes at Vasa Federal! Definitely the best class I've ever taken.
Stephanie Wilson (5/26/25, 5:43 AM):
America and Erica really came through for us and made our experience top-notch. They definitely deserve a raise, no doubt about it.
Nancy Nguyen (5/24/25, 7:07 PM):
I tried a one-day pass and I'm deciding whether it's worth getting a membership. The main issue is the extensive water damage and mold in the building. For those sensitive to mold and patients with CIRS, this building is not safe. It poses a health risk for everyone, but particularly for that group of individuals. The purpose of working out is to improve our health, but if you're breathing in such a high level of toxins, it's completely counterproductive. Is management taking any steps to tackle these problems? Based on previous reviews, it doesn't seem like they are.
Ethan Richardson (5/24/25, 5:12 PM):
VASAs are absolutely brilliant. There's a real go-getter vibe in there. The place is spotless and packed with gear. I do wish they had a couple more power racks though.
If you're into cycling, Anna runs a super enjoyable and tough class on Tuesdays at 6 pm.
Scott Rodriguez (5/24/25, 3:09 AM):
I simply can't wait for the sauna benches to finally give out so I can take legal action.

**01/29 Closed for Repairs :(
Daniel Mitchell (5/23/25, 1:10 PM):
Well, it seems like harassment is deemed acceptable at this establishment... not only by other members but by the "management" too. I shan't be returning here and I strongly advise you not to either.
James Bailey (5/23/25, 7:27 AM):
I was keen on giving this gym a go after previously being a member at a different Vasa location years ago. I was given a 1-day free pass to try out this particular gym, but upon arriving, the front desk associate informed me that I would have to pay since I had been a member at a different location in the past. I couldn't find this information anywhere on the website or FAQs. It was a disappointment to make the trip only to be turned away. The facility itself appeared to be excellent, and the front desk associate was courteous and professional. However, the lack of transparency deserves a 1-star rating. Please update the website or provide clear disclaimers.
Mark Collins (5/17/25, 2:29 AM):
Fantastic team and top-of-the-line gear. Pippa and her squad of trainers absolutely crush it in the group sessions. The sense of community here has really motivated me to hit the gym and, most importantly, stay committed.
Kyle Peterson (5/16/25, 11:42 PM):
I have been attending this gym for more than a year now. I absolutely adore this place. The Group Fitness Manager and her team of coaches are fantastic. The variety of classes offered at this gym is superb. I have also formed a wonderful community of friends here.
Thomas Hall (5/15/25, 2:57 PM):
I am very pleased with this club. It is always clean and the staff is very friendly. Like any gym, they may have some broken equipment at times, however, in my experience, the staff is quick to resolve these issues.
Betty Watson (5/14/25, 4:51 AM):
I must say, the service provided by the gentlemen at the front desk was rather lacking. I have been a loyal member of Vasa since its inception, always holding a fitness membership. Recently, I made the switch to a basic membership and selected this particular location as my home gym on the Vasa app. However, it seems there was a hiccup in the system, as they wouldn't allow me entry citing that my home gym needed to be changed first.

As a long-standing and devoted member, I feel they could have shown a bit more flexibility by allowing me access while I sorted out the issue with my membership details.
Karen Long (5/13/25, 1:17 AM):
Vasa provided an economical solution for my triathlon training with their pool, which was often pleasantly uncrowded. Nonetheless, the locker room left much to be desired, with what I'm quite certain was black mold on the walls, likely stemming from a leaky roof. The team members were consistently warm and inviting.
Deborah Evans (5/10/25, 5:59 PM):
I just joined this gym at the start of February. Primarily because of the opening hours and childcare services. The ladies at the childcare center have been absolutely wonderful! I have a 3-month-old baby and feel completely comfortable leaving him in their care. They even call me if he starts crying so I can go and check on him whenever necessary. I am so grateful for these ladies and the excellent care they provide!
